Our family is devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of Russell, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, who passed away following a tragic accident while working as a lineman. There are no words that can fully express the heartbreak our family is experiencing. Russell leaves behind his loving wife, Ingrid, and their daughter, Nakoa, who are now facing an unimaginable loss and a future they never expected to navigate without him. He was a hardworking and devoted husband and father who worked every day to provide for the family he loved so deeply.
<br>
<br>
 Russell’s passing has left a tremendous void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him, but especially Ingrid and Nakoa. During a time when their focus should simply be on grieving and being together, this fundraiser was created to help ease some of the financial burden that comes with such a sudden and devastating loss. The funds will support funeral and memorial expenses, household needs, and the unexpected financial challenges they may face in the days and months ahead.
<br>
<br>
 Nothing can prepare a family for a loss like this, and no amount of support can replace the husband and father Ingrid and Nakoa have lost. The hope is simply to surround them with love and give them some peace of mind as they begin navigating this incredibly difficult road ahead. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Ingrid, Nakoa, and the entire family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every prayer, message, donation, and act of kindness during this devastating time.

<strong>For Tiffany Solis and her children</strong>
<br>
<br>
 The Solis family is facing a loss that no family could ever be prepared for. On October 5, Tiffany Solis unexpectedly lost her husband, Agapito Arevalo Solis Jr., known to many as "Pete." Agapito was a devoted husband and father, a man of deep faith, and someone whose love for family was at the center of his life. Anyone who knew him knew how much Tiffany and their children meant to him, and how proud he was of the life they built together. His passing has left a heartbreaking void in the lives of everyone who loved him.
<br>
<br>
 This loss comes during an especially difficult time for Tiffany. While grieving Agapito, Tiffany is also caring for one of their children through a serious medical situation that requires hospitalization. Instead of being able to focus fully on her family’s healing, Tiffany is now carrying the weight of funeral and memorial costs, ongoing medical-related expenses, and everyday household needs as she tries to navigate this devastating transition. Donations will help ease those burdens and give Tiffany a little breathing room as she cares for her children and takes each day one step at a time. If you are able to give, any amount will make a difference. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Tiffany, her children, and everyone who loved Agapito in your prayers. Thank you for surrounding the Solis family with love and support.

<div>Help Us Honor Milo

Milo was my 4-month-old puppy, but to me and my boyfriend, he was so much more than just a pet. He was our baby, our best friend, and a huge part of our lives. We were co-parenting him together—learning how to take care of him, watching him grow, taking care of him when he was teething, making sure he ate, slept, played, and most importantly, felt loved and safe.

For the last 8 years, I had always begged and wished for a dog. I would go to parties and people’s houses just because they had dogs, and I could spend hours with them because being around dogs made me genuinely happy. My parents were always very adamant about never having a dog, so when Milo finally came into my life, it felt like one of my biggest dreams had finally come true.

Milo became everything I had ever wished for. He was the funniest, smartest, sweetest little puppy, and he brought so much happiness into our lives. My boyfriend and I got to experience so many of his little milestones together, and we were so excited for all the years we thought we would have with him.

Unfortunately, Milo became very sick, and despite everything we did to try to help him, we lost him two days ago. Watching him during his final moments is something I will never forget. Seeing our little baby struggle and knowing there was nothing more we could do completely broke our hearts.

We did everything we could to get Milo the medical attention he needed. Unfortunately, the emergency medical care and treatment resulted in medical bills that have now left us with a heavy financial burden on top of the heartbreak of losing him.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover Milo’s medical expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to us. If you aren’t able to donate, even sharing this fundraiser or keeping Milo and our family in your thoughts means more than you know.

Milo’s life was far too short, but we want to remember him for the love he gave us and the love we gave him. We know we did everything we could to make him feel safe, cared for, and loved every single day he was with us.

He wasn’t “just a dog.” He was our baby. He was my dream come true, my best friend, and a little piece of our family that we will carry with us forever.

Rest in peace, Milo. You were and will always be loved by everyone who knew you. We will miss you forever. <br />

Remembering Milo, My Beloved Puppy

Gabriela and her mom Cristina, members of the Vargas family and dear friends of mine for over 40 years, recently experienced a life-altering tragedy. While enjoying a meal together at Los Cinco Puntos in Boyle Heights, an impaired driver crashed into their table, leaving both of them with devastating injuries. Gabriela suffered a head injury and a deep laceration on her knee, while Cristina endured serious head and body trauma and after 3 surgeries so far, heartbreakingly, had both of her legs amputated as a result of the accident.
<br />
<br />
 Cristina, now in her 80s, has always been a vibrant and social person with a true lust for life. She loved to dance and was a regular at events at the senior center, bringing joy and energy wherever she went. Her vivacious spirit and love for connecting with others made her a beloved member of the community. This sudden change is especially heartbreaking for someone who has always embraced life so fully and actively.
<br />
<br />
 This unimaginable event has left Gabriela and Cristina facing massive medical bills, ongoing rehabilitation, and daily living expenses. Cristina will need significant support to adapt to her new disability, including making their home accessible and covering the costs of specialized care. The road ahead is long and challenging, but with your help, they can focus on healing rather than the overwhelming financial stress. Even the smallest donation will make a difference for Gabriela and Cristina as they navigate this difficult journey. Your support means the world to them and will help them find hope and strength in the midst of hardship. Please consider contributing and sharing their story—together, we can help them rebuild and move forward.

Help Gabriela and Cristina After Accident

Our beloved Shaya went home to be with the Lord this past Sunday after a courageous battle with cancer.
<br>
<br>
<br>
 She loved nature and animals and found joy in the beauty of God’s creation. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, and her infectious laugh could brighten any room. She was thoughtful, caring, and fiercely loved by everyone who knew her. She brought so much life, light, and love into every room she entered, and her absence leaves an immeasurable void in our hearts.
<br>
<br>
<br>
 While we grieve this tremendous loss, we find comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord, free from pain and at peace. As our family navigates this difficult season, we are asking for support to help cover her funeral and memorial expenses. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden and allow us to honor her life with the love and dignity she deserves.
<br>
<br>
<br>
 If you are unable to donate, we would be deeply grateful for your prayers and for sharing this fundraiser with others.
<br>
<br>
<br>
 Thank you for your love, kindness, and support during this incredibly difficult time. We will forever cherish her memory and the countless lives she touched.

</div>
<div>Hola a todos,
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Gastos Médicos:
</div>
<div>Equipo médico $70,000
</div>
<div>Material quirúrgico $20,000 + IVA
</div>
<div>Hospitalización $70,000 + IVA
</div>
<div>Consulta médica $1,000

<div>Resonancia magnética $2,500
</div>
<div>Otros gastos como medicamento, rehabilitación, etc.

<div>Dear friends and family,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of a dearly loved soul, my husband's grandmother, Maria Guadalupe Torres. She was a source of love, generosity, and blessing to everyone who knew her. Maria, a loving woman with a big heart, welcomed everyone into her home without exception. She readily assisted anyone in need. Maria's love extended to her passion for cooking, ensuring everyone was well-fed at any hour. Maria could have hosted her own cooking show. She leaves behind many cherished recipes for her family, featuring her two secret ingredients: love and garlic. Always grateful, she prayed for everyone she met. If you saw her, she had a blessing for you. Her departure has left a void in our hearts, and we seek your support to help honor her memory.

On January 19, 2021 Jose Rolando Betancourt lost his battle against COVID-19. It has been very difficult for us to come to the realization that we have lost the backbone of our family. He will be greatly missed and the thought he is no longer with us is a blow to all those who loved him and knew his great heart. For those who didn't know him, he was such a caring, loving, selfless man. He was a husband, father, and grandfather and he was the glue that held our family together. He sacrificed a lot for his family and lived a life of gratitude. He will never be forgotten and will live forever in the memories we treasure. We know he will look down upon us and shine his light as we navigate through this difficult time.<br /><br />We are hoping to raise $10,000 by February 05, 2021 for his memorial and funeral services. The funds will be used to lay him to rest and say our final goodbye. During this time of financial hardship and sudden tragedy for many, we are eternally grateful for any contribution and your generosity. Thank you for your love and support as we grieve this terrible loss.

Italia Angela Rago’s Funeral

<strong><br />Today marks 1 whole year since Omar was diagnosed with cancer. ONE very long and grueling year, with countless treatments and surgeries. ONE whole entire year without an income. ONE year of mounting medical bills. ONE year of pain, stress, tears and sorrow. ONE year of praying to make it go away. One year of Faith. One year of Living!<br /><br />ONE year with lots of love from his family. The girls always wonder if daddy is sleeping when they get home, and constantly ask, "when is daddy going to get better?" Their prayer EVERY night is always the same, "Please God help Daddy get better." Giovanni now yells outside his bedroom door for his Daddy when Omar is in his room sick.<br /><br />It is easy to forget that this is going on when Omar is always smiling and "looks" good. He gets so sick from the poison that runs through his body to kill this cancer. And has had so much pain with his surgeries. The mental pain and anguish is not visible either. When he cannot support his family or physically pick up his kids and hold them.<br /><br />Please continue to pray for their family and may God bless your holidays.<br /><br />If each person that saw this and gave just $10 AND SHARED IT and the next person paid it forward we could have the $15,000 to the Mayo Clinic paid off in no time. <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/43640158_1577986851856993_r.jpeg" alt="43640158_1577986851856993_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/43640158_1577986363803903_r.jpeg" alt="43640158_1577986363803903_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><br /><br /></strong>Our lives were completely shattered this NOVEMBER as we learned that THE BEST husband, father, son, son-in-law, cousin and friend has Stage 4 Colon Cancer.<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/43640158_1574647323665126_r.jpeg" alt="43640158_1574647323665126_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />At 27, Omar has just begun the biggest battle of and for his life. He, along with his family, is filled with Faith that God will prevail, but the lives of this young family will be turned upside down for the near future.<br /><br />A baseball sized tumor was removed with almost his entire colon, however there are spots that have spread to his liver and lungs. The plan is to begin chemotherapy in 3-4 weeks after Omar heals from this surgery.<br /><br />For now, the girls have been bouncing between 3 of our homes, while Emily and baby Gio have been living at the hospital with Omar for almost a week now.<br /><br />As Omar is the sole provider for his beautiful young family, we do not know how long he might be off of work as he fights for his life . Another unknown, is how many medical costs they may incur with this terrible disease. <br /><br />As Emily, Omar, and their 3 babies lives have been  in complete disarray for a week now, unfortunately they are looking at many months of this confusion and uncertainty. <br /><br />During the past few days our family has had devastating news but  have also had an abundance of love and support with everyone asking how they can help.<br /><br />Please consider donating to this fund so that they do not have to worry about losing their house or bills and other expenses that could pop up with this type of grueling disease not only physically and emotionally, but also financially.<br /><br />Thank you in advance for anything you can share,<br /><br />The Coggins/Granados

Omar's Battle with Colon Cancer

Our dearest Elvis Padilla and his Brother Hector Hermosillo have lost their 69 year old mother due to a hit and run. She was on her way to church at 5:30 am when a reckless driver took away her life and drove off. She was pronounced dead at the scene. This was a horrible crime and is a very devastating time for them and their family.<br /><br />Elvis is my friend/father and brother. He is the friend that will always be there for you, he is the friend that will drive to see you at 4am just because you're upset. He is the person who is always there for everybody else before himself but today WE all need to be there for him, his father and his brother. Thats why I ask for your help today to help raise and donate money for his mother's funeral/burial and expenses for the family. Elvis' mom always wanted to be buried in her country, Guatemala. Help me raise this money for our amazing Elvis Padilla and his wonderful brother Hector. <br /><br />I appreciate each and every single one of you who donates. I will be in charge of this and will transfer all the money to Elvis' bank account once donated as he is the beneficiary.<br /><br />Thank you.

<p>Mazin and his family suffered a tragic house fire the night of October 5/6.  They lost everything!  Their two little boys have very few clothes or toys      that survived the fire and Maz and Tifany have nothing that is not fire damaged or smoke covered.  Even the front end of their car melted from the     heat of the fire.  Sadly, Maz was in the process of switching his insurance  and found out today that it has lapsed and the new coverage did not start     until the day after the fire for his home and his auto.   The family will not be getting any emergency relief and could use all money donations no matter how small.  <br /><br />Maz is a valued member of our Carpet Guys Family and we are taking this opportunity to fund raise for him and his family to help them through this     terrible tragedy.  We hope to collect funds as well as toys and belongings for him and his family.  We are so grateful that they are all ok and want to      support them as best we can.  The kids are Size 4 and Size 6.  They love superhero's, dinosaurs, Pokémon, peppa pig, toy story and toy cars, trains and     monster trucks.   <br /><br />Other fundraising efforts are being planned but for now, your generosity and caring is greatly appreciated.<br /><br />Thank you for your support!

Collection for family of Maz Shwayhat

This deeply saddens us to have to do this. On 1/07/2018 souls were claimed by the Lord leaving us with the tremendous grief and pain. Valery Arreola-Rodriguez was a strong beautiful woman and amazing mother to her two joyful sons. She was expecting her third to be born just next month, Emilio. On her way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon with family her car stalled on the highway entrance. Frantic and afraid she pulled off to the shoulder and called our dad for assistance. While waiting for help to come, a car strikes her from the back. Leaving the car destroyed and many uncertainty to injuries. Rushed to the hospitals there was a great amount of doctors working on valery (21 years old) and memo ( 3 years old). Luckily max (5 years old) walked away from this with a couple of facial lacerations and is in perfect physical health. A couple hours later of anticipation and surgery they pronounced valery and her unborn child dead. News that was shocking and excruciating to our family. We are currently waiting to hear back about the results on memo. He currently has fractures in both legs, fracture in the skull, fractured right shoulder blade and cervical spine, one of which is causing profound internal bleeding. He is intubated and currently in his second surgery. Today we are asking for all you believers to pray and ask for healing to memos little body and strength for the family. We are also asking that if anyone can help with the cost of the funeral arrangements to please do so. ANYTHING can help. And if you are unable to help with finances we ask that you help with sharing. Stressing about the cost is the last thing our family needs. Friends and family of valery and the boys we appreciate any help. Hug your loved ones and never take them for granted. Go tell them you love them because from one day to the next they can be ripped away from you. <br />Update: Memo passed away yesterday. He put up a great fight and we know that he is now resting with no pain. We thank everyone who has donated for valery and Emilio’s funeral and medical expenses. All donations are being managed by memo, junior, and Emilio’s uncle, valerys brother in law, Jay Medina.

Valery and Emilio Arreola’s Passing

Hello. My name is Blanca Nancy Hernández. I am a mother of 2 sons and a daughter and 7 grandchildren which are the love of my life. They are all my being, my whole life. On June 30, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, something that left a big impact on me because I was not expecting it, but I said to myself, "I'm going to get past this, a test that God gives us. I have to continue and with favor of God, I will overcome this. The chaos started when I could not get help for lack of insurance.<br />I've knocked on many doors where they ask for a very large amount for just treatment not including surgery and hospitalization. They tell me that the cost of treatment is $200,000 to $300,000 of which I will have to raise half, which is $150,000. I know this is a huge amount, but my family, friends, and other family member and I together will try to raise it.<br />Therefore, I am asking for your help. Whatever you can and are willing to give. May God give you many blessings. I will be eternally grateful.<br /><br />Hola. Muchas Gracias. Que Dios me les de muchas bendiciones. Le estare eternamente agredecida.

Blanca Fighting Breast Cancer

It is with a heavy heart, our beloved friend, co-worker, our James Dean of Luckman, JD was involved in a horrible and tragic accident that took his life Tuesday, August 16th, 2016 at 6:04am. It has left us all at a complete loss. <br /><br />He was immediately taken to Cedar Sinai Hospital by ambulance in West Hollywood where after hours of waiting and praying, we were informed he sadly lost his battle due to the injuries of his fall. <br /><br />Know that he was surrounded by nothing but love, laughs and smiles and that he'd always want to be remembered that way. Anyone who knew JD or has ever come in contact with him would without a doubt say how great of a person he was. So respectful, so thoughtful, so genuine, so caring, so intelligent, so silly, so talented, SO funny & SO LOVING!! He was such a light and a blessing in all of our lives. We agreed (His SoHo House family) that we wanted to help his family in anyway that we could. His family has traveled all the way to Los Angeles from Hawaii which is where JD is from. We really want to help his family in finding peace and accommodating them while they're here through this hard time. Anything helps and all of the funds raised in remembering this sweet handsome soul will be given directly over to his family. With that being said, his sister Melanie Ross will be the beneficiary to this campaign and will be the only one able to access these funds in starting the scholarship for JD. <br /><br />Rachel & I thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts and we appreciate everyone for reaching out and for being as supportive as you all have during this difficult time. <br /><br />In loving memory of our friend, JD Sakamoto.  <3 <br /><br />"Together, Forever, Tonight." <br /><br />***The Sakamoto Family is so incredibly thankful for all the love and support everyone has shown them and their son in donating to this fundraiser we started in honor of their amazing and talented JD. They would like everyone to know just how much they truly appreciate it. So again, Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone who donated, liked & shared as we will forever miss our friend.***<br /><br />*The Family did NOT ask for this fundraiser to be arranged for them. However, It was more of a surprise and was created with the intention of everyone who loved JD, worked with him, met him once or was his best friend to have the opportunity to able to contribute in wanting to help and assist his family in any possible way we could and felt this was the best platform to do so.*<br /><br />With the love of everyone, know that what you contributed to this fundraiser will more than likely be the start of an amazing scholarship program in remembering and honoring JD. (The Jon Daniel Sakamoto Scholarship) (Title: Not Official*) <br /><br />I can't speak on behalf of it too much, however the family has expressed in using the funds raised to create a scholarship that will help less fortunate kids pursue and live out their wildest dreams in earning an educational degree involving creative arts! Music, Theatre, etc! How awesome?! We'll keep everyone posted once we know more because WE.ARE.OHANA and 'Together', 'Forever'! <br /><br />Thank you! Ohana! <div>Hi, my name is Michelle. I am the aunt and godmother (with pride) to Jesse Uria, who was 21 years old. He always had a smile on his face, was constantly joking around, and made friends everywhere he went. He was really loved by family and friends. <strong>This sudden accident with his girlfriend off Stetson and Lake Street in Valle Vista on Oct. 17, 2026, came at a time when he was planning his upcoming birthday and vacation dreams to a complete stop with his death.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>I am making this GoFundMe to help my brother, Darwin, his mother, Sandra, and brother, Andrew, afford his funeral costs and time off work to deal with this sudden loss.</strong> Anything would help.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
