<div>The Pijut family is reeling from an unimaginable tragedy after a devastating fire claimed their home on Wednesday, November 6th. Though they are profoundly grateful to have escaped with their lives, the reality of losing everything they owned is overwhelming. Their home—filled with the memories and comforts they built together as a family—is gone, leaving them with only the clothes on their backs. Now, Jay, his wife, and their three children—two teenagers and a young 5-year-old—are beginning the daunting journey to rebuild from scratch.

<div>This fundraiser was created by Chuck and Becki Hutchison, close friends who have known the Pijuts for decades. Chuck has been Jay’s best friend since they were just 15, and he and Becki have stood by the family through thick and thin. They know the road ahead will be long, but they’re determined to help ease the burden as much as possible. All funds raised here will go directly to the Pijut family, who are the only ones able to withdraw them, ensuring that every dollar goes toward helping them rebuild.

Help the Pijut Family Rebuild After Fire

This is the last thing we wanted to do - share the news of our older sister's passing.<br />Unfortunately, our sister, Brittany, lost her battle with addiction on April 25th, 2020.  <br />Brittany chose a lifestyle that not many of us can understand or fathom but that never made us love her any less.  We will always remember her to be artsy, outgoing and someone who loved deeply. <br />Today, we face the financial struggles of having to bury our loved one.<br />With the covid-19 pandemic happening, many of us are out of work and struggling financially.  <br />If anyone is willing to help us to afford this process, it would be greatly appreciated!  Anything counts. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Brittanys Funeral Expenses

As many of you already know Joan Greer finally lost her battle to Colorectal cancer on June 22nd, 2019. With the final failure of her liver. She spent almost 2 years fighting so hard to stay alive for her family and friends. Unfortunately since the beginning the odds were stacked against her. By the time the cancer was discovered and diagnosed she was already declared stage 4. She spent months suffering through the harsh side effects  of chemotherapy  treatment, which began to make even daily life and tasks almost unbearable. Through it all, she persevered an remained the loving caring mother, wife, and friend that she had always been. .but with the struggles that cancer put her through she was unable to prepare for life after death. Thus, leaving her husband, family, and children to completely cover the cost of her memorial and medical bills, all while coping with her loss. She held no insurance policies to provide any financial security for family. However, we know that Joan made an impact on so many people, who were constantly supportive through this battle. We humblily ask for your help, one last time. We want to give Joan the memorial that she deserves. With your help we can do this and possibly provide some debt relief  and piece of mind to her heartbroken family members. Joan is, and forever will be, greatly missed. She fought hard and we will always be grateful that she was surrounded by her loving family and friends over the last few days. We are positive that she was fully aware of just how much she was loved! Joan always put others first and has forever made the world a better place. Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout her fight. Her pain is over and we should rejoice and cherish all of the wonderful memories and times spent with her beautiful soul.
