In September of 2025, I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. Since then, I've been through hormone therapy, six rounds of chemotherapy, and countless appointments for blood work, imaging, and specialist follow-ups. The port installed for chemotherapy needs monthly maintenance, and while insurance covers some costs, many expenses are starting to pile up.
<br>
<br>
 Although treatments so far have been successful, I recently learned I will need to begin a course of radiation in the coming weeks, which is also preceded by a number of scans. This means I will need to take more time off work, and unfortunately, I am currently out of sick time. On top of everything, my car broke down beyond repair in May 2026, and I need a reliable vehicle to get to my appointments. I would use funds raised to help me get to appointments and work.
<br>

 I would use the funds raised here to pay for past and future medical bills and to put toward a reliable car. I appreciate any help you can give. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing my fundraiser. Your support means so much to me during this difficult time.

Help with Cancer Treatment & Transportation

This Steve Rauch. We share a fence together, and he’s been my neighbor for almost ten years now in Kagel Canyon. But more than being my neighbor, he’s also my friend. As is his dog, Lucy.
<div>Steve’s health started declining last month. He lives alone, keeps to himself for the most part, and has few friends outside of the canyon. Yesterday, he received a devastating diagnosis, Steve has advanced leukemia and doesn’t have much time left on this earth.
</div>
<div>Steve left the hospital yesterday preferring to be at home with his beloved dog, Lucy.
</div>
<div>The canyon is gathering together to do as much as we can to support Steve, but as he was self-employed, he doesn’t have much savings.
</div>
<div>This is why I am starting a GoFund me page for Steve, to make certain his last days are both safe and comfortable. Your donation is vastly appreciated.
</div>
<div>Thank you and God bless,
