<div>For APLE Collective our community are a national collective of individuals and organizations who have experienced or are experiencing poverty. Our aim is to create a sustainable, grassroots network across the UK to raise awareness of poverty, reduce stigma and work together with others to eradicate it. 
</div>
<div>As part of the APLE Collective we involve our community by ensuring that everyone in the network has an equal opportunity to have their voice heard. We create a supportive space for the coming together of individuals with direct experiences of poverty to build relationships of trust and mutual understanding. We are led by a group of Trustees, the majority (60%) have lived experience of poverty. We respect the dignity of people from all backgrounds and actively seek to promote equality and diversity in our work. We have member organizations which represent the diversity of our community involvement approaches.

<div>The project for which we would like funding was co-created as part of our participatory meetings. We run regular in-person sand online community meetings to co-create using participatory approaches our organisational direction and strategy. We would like funding to build showcase how to build APLE Collective’s partnership’s nationally in order to strengthen participatory approaches to addressing poverty with lived experience.

<div>We would like funding to build new and showcase existing APLE Collective partnership’s nationally in order to strengthen participatory approaches to addressing poverty with lived experience. Our project will bring people together to build strong relationships in and across communities. 
</div>
<div>We would like funding to nurture existing and build new strong partnership with government and charitable allies in order to roll out our Taking Voice Seriously project. Taking Voice Seriously is a campaign co-designed by the APLE Collective community that sets out ethical approaches to engaging people with lived experience of poverty in order to build lived experience voices within organisational change making.

<div>The project will co-create a toolkit to support organisations to address poverty with lived experience and develop a series of knowledge sharing opportunities to showcase APLE Collective’s co-created expertise  in Taking Voice Seriously.
