<div>My mom received a phone call last Saturday that <strong>my stepdad got into a motorcycle accident</strong>. Since then, the injuries he sustained have left him unable to eat or walk on his own. I'm confident that Mikey will recover, but we can't do it on our own.

<font color="#333333">It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that we have to share the unexpected passing of Laila Orjuela on Sunday May 5th, 2024 . Laila was 14 and an 8th grader at Wall Intermediate School. She was a beautiful big sister to her 10 year old brother Mason and daughter to Alison Young and Oscar Orjuela. 
The family is understandably shocked by this sudden tragic loss  .
With all of the brutal emotional pain and stress that death brings, it can also bring financial burdens. We would like to raise money for Laila’s family to help with any funeral expenses. As expected the family is not prepared for all that is happening at this time. 
Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden unimaginable loss of a young child adds a different element to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern and there is an a complete lack of closure. 
There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral and long term support.  It is in times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another make it through. My dad’s presence in my life has illuminated the darkest corners of my world. There’s not a soul I know that would say anything different. He would never, ever, <em>ever</em> shy away from a person in need. This time, I’d like to return the favor.

Funeral for Keith Bullard

In June 2016, Chris Hart was diagnosed with Stage 2 pancreatic cancer.  Pancreatic cancer is a rare cancer to begin with, but in a 38 year old, it is almost unheard of.  It was devastating news to Chris, his wife Nicole, their son Kacey, and Chris's entire family and many many friends.<br />Chris will start chemo therapy in early July. During his treatment, Chris will not be able to work as much and Nicole will need to take time as well to care for him and get him to appointments. The financial impact of cancer is a scary one for any family. Chris, Nicole, and their family need to focus on one thing, and that is getting Chris back to Chris.  Lets help make the financial impact less scary for these amazing people.<br />Thank you!!!!

In summer of 2009, we lived by her side in ICU for 2 months. By the time Olivia was 3 years old she had spent 1/3 of her life inpatient in hospitals. To date Olivia has undergone 15 major surgeries and 4 are scheduled this coming year. If you think that’s a lot, most children who particularly suffer from TCS, have undergone 30 to 40 surgeries on average by the time they are 8 years old. <br /><br /><strong>Olivia's first surgery is scheduled for February 16th. Olivia Rae's 8th Birthday for CCA

Many of you have been following our story, but here it is again. Jeremy has had a large lump on the palm of his right hand for quite some time. It was said to be a cyst and that it would go away on its own. No one had reason to believe anything else because who gets cancer in their hand. Jeremy had been experiencing numbness and weaknesses is the hand for about 6 months when he finally decided to see a specialist. Dr Samara was amazing. He insisted that before he touched the cyst that we get an MRI. That MRI gave us a huge surprise, we were not dealing with a cyst, we were dealing with tumor. The tumor was quite large in size but we still had faith, because once again, who in the world gets cancer on their hand. Dr Samara decided to do a biopsy in November that had come back inconclusive. During the time between biopsies the tumor became protruding from the incision, and it was at that point we began getting nervous. To make things more comfortable for Jeremy he decided to go ahead with a second biopsy and take a larger piece. The first pathologist to view the larger piece still wasn't sure what this was... So the tumor took a trip to Atlanta! Well here we are, with cancer in Jeremys right hand, waiting .we have Monophasic Synovial Sarcoma.. It is a very rare form of cancer, especially in the hand. (I guess that answers our questions as to who gets cancer in their hand) I say we because he will go through none of this alone. we have an uphill battle to fight, but with enough faith, support and love we can win. We can win for Jeremy! (when in reality that's winning for us all)Let me tell you, you dumb stupid tumor, we are going to fight! The next steps from here are still unclear. We are waiting to hear from Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC (we need to go with a sarcoma specialist). This is not going to be easy. Their will be trips to the city and time off work and medical bills. People keep asking how they can help. Well this is how... We know alot can't afford to help, and that's fine.. Honestly we expect nothing. This will jusy take one worry away from our family when there is so much else to worry about . We are not greedy people, that's why a portion of what is donated here will go to set up a scholarship fund for people effected by Sarcoma! If you can not help monetarily and would still like to do something, there is plenty to be done... We appreciate every single call, text and all of the kind words... So if that's all you can do.. Keep doing it. Keep sharing this. Get Jeremys story out there, because a cyst is not always a cyst! Who gets hand cancer?!?! 

<p>This account is to help fund expenses for Marissa's trip to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota 8/24/15-9/2/15.  Expenses included are travel there &amp; home, accomodations there, food, and medical expenses for the care she will receive while there.  Until July 2014 Marissa was a normal healthy girl.  7/18/14 she had her first Grand Mal Seizure and has endured many medical problems since then.  She has pain and weakness in her legs causing her to fall, loss of memory, word finding issues, tremors in her hands, pain in her face, and head, to name a few.  We have seen several specialists here and in Miami.  The only diagnosis we have received is Epilepsy.  We were told we may not find a diagnosis for the other symptoms and to concentrate on treating her symptons.  We are NOT okay with that.  Something is causing this and I won't stop until we figure it out.  I can not stand to see her miserable.  We reached out to the Mayo Clinic and are scheduled to see multiple Doctors the week we are there and hope we get some answers.  Anything will help and is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for reading.  <br /><br /><br /></p>
