Hello everyone. My name is Amanda Persaud. I was the recipient of a Go Fund Me account several years ago, that one of my best friends created for me and my family, after a tragic accident. During that time, I was humbled in so many ways, that I obtained a new outlook on people, their intentions, and their inherent GOODNESS, despite all of the evils in the world. In my profile, you may see my old Go Fund Me account, read the details and updates, and understand why I am creating this account for my sister-in-law, who has always put others first, has always gone above and beyond, and has been there when needed the most. Just to put things into perspective, this beautiful woman decided to practice using a catheter on herself, after my daughter became a paraplegic several years ago (during our tragic accident). She did this for multiple reasons, 1) to show our daughter that she didnt need to be afraid, and that it CAN be done, and 2) to learn and then teach her the best way to do it herself. She stayed at the hospital with my daughter when I couldn't be there. She even allowed my daughter to live with her and her family, while I was still at the hospital with my husband. She did not work during the many weeks we were in the hospital and at rehab, and was always there for us (even the many nights when I became a "Chatty Cathy" while on my pain medication, and would NOT stop talking!) She is totally selfless, and if I could ever repay her in any way, creating this GoFundMe page would be it, as we hope and pray for her speedy recovery. She recently went in for a biopsy of a nodule on her lung, and during the procedure, a vein in her lung got knicked, and started bleeding, which ultimately caused her lung to collapse. She has Stage 4 COPD and emphysema, so it's taking her lungs longer to heal than normal. Since last Thursday, the bleeding has stopped, but they want to make sure she's calm to not dislodge the clot that was formed, so she has been heavily sedated since, to keep her calm and to promote healing. Our biggest concern and need for prayers at this time, is for her pneumothorax to heal enough to where they can take her off of the ventilator (the sooner the better). Her out of state children have flown in to be with her, even though she is not aware yet. I am hoping that donations to this fundraiser will help my brother, and his children be able to eat, travel to and from the hospital pay their monthly bills, and stay focused on Casey during this very scary time. It is estimated that this will be a long recovery, and continued support may be necessary, so that the monetary needs of my brother and his family will be met so that they can continue to focus on my sister, and her needs. I know, too well, what it's like to bein constant fear of losing someone so close. If you know me or my story, when we lost our 2 daughters in our tragic accident, and when I was just waiting, at the mercy of the doctors, to tell me if our oldest daughter, or my husband was going to survive, it was torturous, and The GoFundMe account that my best friend set up for me and my family was something that allowed me to not worry about the unimportant things. I was able to focus on my daughter and husband, and I thank God for everyone's support, prayers, and donations, to this day. 
 
Like the title suggests, I want to pay it forward by asking you all to please give any amount to help my brother and his family, during this very stressful time. we still do not know a prognosis yet, and although it's hard not to fear the worst, I pray that God will place his healing hands on my sister, Casey, and I pray that he will bless the doctors and nurses who are caring for her, to ensure that they are diligent, precise, and successful in any upcoming procedures. And I pray for you all, to please add Casey Thomas's name to your prayer lists and/or groups, and if you can, please share this page, and donate ANY amount that you can spare. Paying it forward in the time of need...

In today's world, it seems so many of us are focused on spending our time with what brings us joy and what we believe is happiness. Chris McCarty has spent the last 20 years of his time serving the less fortunate. But now, a recent accident involving a fire, has him on the other side of less fortunate, which begs the question, "who helps The Helper, when the helper needs help?"  Chris McCarty is one talented artist.  His strong family values, and supportive family upbringing groomed Chris to care for the betterment of society, and be a professional in whatever field he chose. Chris chose to heal people with his music.  Chris volunteers with: - The Boggy Creek Gang Camp for Children with Cancer - All Children's Hospital, St Pete, FL - Plumb Elementary Autism class - Organizations aiding homeless children  - Veteran's Day organizations - The Great American Teach-in After a painful debridement procedure, multiple skin grafts are required to give Chris a chance to continue his career. Chris' traumatic accident has turned his life into a whirlwind, of physical pain, emotional stress, and worse, uncertainty of the recovery process. His career is in jeopardy. Apart from those realities, Chris is not allowed to perspire, and with the physical and energetic nature of his performances, that is not going to happen.  Chris McCarty volunteers religiously, and takes care of two small children, as a single Dad. Chris will need help with his medical bills and what is needed to provide for his family. We are asking for help to secure his family's needs, and allow him to take the time he needs with physical therapy, and rehabilitation in order to continue to be of service.  Chris had worked tirelessly to get his finances in order and then, the Covid pandemic hit and like others, his resources were depleted.  Then, this unexpected event has created another setback, which is why he is now reaching out for help.

Three elementary school aged children from the same family were hit and killed by a pickup truck while boarding a school bus early Tuesday morning in Rochester, Indiana. We are very good friends with this family.  Now we want to help them.  Please help us.

OLD CAMPAIGN:   My family and I were sitting, having lunch after recently moving south, and the unthinkable happened to my fifteen year old daughter! A celebrity approached our table and began speaking with us about an acting opportunity that could very well change my daughters life, forever. Ariana is my beautiful 15 year old daughter who I hope is destined for greatness. She deserves to be happy, as we all do, and I've never seen her as excited, motivated, or as happy as she is now! Please help me help her get the opportunity to learn what she can about the acting industry, the tricks of the trade, and build the connections that will help her be successful! My daughter was stunned. She always has dreamed of such an opportunity such as this. She is a pretty smart kid with a lot of ambition but, for some reason, has never had something excite her this much until now. We would like to help her take this opportunity and run with it, but we can't do it without the help and support of friends and family.  the funds will help her attend acting workshops and classes and learn how to use her abilities in such a way to open doors to her future.  I know this is a lot of money, we will be working VERY hard on our end, to prove that your support will be well worth it, and very much appreciated! NEW CAMPAIGN: My family and I were heading to my inlaws' after a nice dinner with my brother and sister.   About 10 away from our destination,  a car came into our lane and hit us head on,  causing our youngest two children to pass away,  and causing Ariana to sustain damages that have caused her not to be able to move from the waist down,  not to mention the damage on her aorta and intestines.  She is determined to walk again,  as we all are,  and she will need a lot of physical therapy,  equipment, and prayers. Please consider donating anything you can (even if everyone donates $1, that would be amazing! ), so that we can afford the proper equipment, treatment, rehab, etc. So she can have a recovery that will allow her top one day walk again!  Thank you all,  for your support.
