<div>Rima is een jong meisje dat binnenkort 13 wordt. Zij woont samen met haar ouders in Nederland. Ze werd gezond geboren, maar op de leeftijd van vier maanden liep ze een virus op in het ziekenhuis. Later ontdekten we dat ze een hersenvliesontsteking had en sindsdien krijgt ze epileptische aanvallen.

<div>Ondanks haar ziekte was Rima altijd een vrolijk kind en had ze altijd een glimlach op haar gezicht. Helaas verslechterde haar toestand. Haar linkerheup raakte ontwricht en ze ontwikkelde scoliose. Ze heeft ademhalingsproblemen, ze heeft altijd veel apparaten bij zich. Rima is honderd procent afhankelijk van onze zorg, maar het ergste is dat ze nu niet naar buiten kan. Ze heeft een aangepaste auto nodig.

<div>Na een incident waarbij ze bijna stikte toen ze terugkwam van de kinderopvang, wisten wij dat het niet veilig was om haar nog alleen te laten gaan met de taxi. Daarom hebben we besloten om haar niet meer naar de kinderopvang te sturen. Ze is al bijna vier jaar het huis niet meer uit geweest, behalve als ze naar het ziekenhuis gaat. Dan wordt ze met de ambulance vervoerd. Dus ze verlaat bijna nooit het huis en ze zit het grootste deel van de tijd thuis opgesloten.

<div>Nu kan Rima niet genieten van de natuur, nieuwe mensen ontmoeten en plezier maken op de kinderopvang. Stel je eens voor hoe ze zich moet voelen, altijd opgesloten in huis. Ze ziet de wereld alleen vanuit het raam. Het breekt onze harten dat ons eigen kleine kind lijdt onder ons financiële situatie. Om een aangepaste auto voor haar te kunnen kopen, hebben we besloten om deze GoFundMe-pagina te maken. Ieder kind verdient het om unieke dagen te beleven…
