As many of you know, our dear friend Virginia passed away at just 44 years old after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Our hearts are broken for Dan and the boys, Bennett and Ellis, as they grieve the loss of Virginia as a wife and mom. Virginia was an incredible model of faith in Christ through suffering, a loyal friend, and someone who loved Dan and the boys deeply. Her loss is unimaginable, and these days are filled with sorrow, change, and the difficult task of moving forward.

<br><strong>We are asking for two things.</strong>

 <li>Please pray for comfort and peace for all who miss Virginia. Her suffering is over, and her comfort is now with her Lord. Her church family prays that this truth brings some measure of peace in the middle of such deep pain.</li>

Garry Johnston has been battling cancer off and on since 2021 - and it has progressed to Stage 4. Garry has been advised by his care team that his time could be limited to just 2 years, and that he should shift his focus now to spending time with the people and things he loves. Garry has 2 adult sons and lots of fish yet to catch.

<div>For those of you who don’t know Garry, he has been a dedicated employee of DRC for 19 years. He started with ATC when we were faxing requisitions to neuro and MSK as a Monday – Friday daytime job. He helped us get started with our own PACS and VR and start integrating sites one by one. He was there as our department grew and changed into a 24/7 operation. He’s seen departments come and go, office buildings move from Bannock to Lakewood, and always approached the ever-changing environment with a spirit of camaraderie.

Update: The family has been made aware of this fund and they were pleasantly shocked and in awe of the community at large! In order to have the funds distributed to the family, the eldest granddaughter Jackie will be the account holder, as she speaks English, reads and writes and has a bank account. She will help her grandmother use the funds for necessities, getting documents in order to qualify for more government assistance and getting her back into the workforce hopefully with a reliable car. Please understand, this is LIFE changing for this family who find themselves in a totally desperate situation. But that situation is no longer without hope. An additional thank you is also in order for a few select individuals who have gone above and beyond in coming alongside the family in relationship and assistance. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!<br /><br />This sweet woman is raising her four grandchildren due to unfortunate and somewhat tragic circumstances. I would love to get a savings account set up for her that she could use for emergencies, to get a reliable vehicle, pay for job training, education expenses for her kids and to start on the journey of eventually getting a home of her own. Her name is Reina, which means queen in Spanish and she truly is the queen of kindness. She has sacrificed everything to keep these kids together and safe but due to medical issues and doing everything alone, she has fallen on hard times and been unable to bounce back. Getting a Franktown Family Back on their Feet

<p>On Friday, August 14, Joe and Jossline Roland were senselessly murdered in Aurora, CO. They leave behind five sweet children.<br /><br />Anyone who knew Joe and Jossline would remember they were always the first to help. They were the best people you could know and their door was always open to friends and family. <br /><br />We would like to raise money for their children. No amount of money can replace what they’ve lost, but maybe we can pull together and provide some financial security for them.

Edit: I have received questions regarding my relationship to the Rolands. Joe was my husband’s best friend of 25+ years. They spoke every day. My husband is the godfather of two of the Rolands’ children. I instantly became close friends with Jossline when she began dating Joe. They were kind, fun, generous people. We have yet to meet anyone else like them and never will. They were special people who built a beautiful life and family together. Joe, Jossline, and their children are family to us. Our lives are all changed forever due to this senseless act of violence. We will miss them every day for the rest of our lives. 

 Joe and Jossline’s main focus in life was their children, which is where our focus is as well. The family is building a trust for the children, which is where this money will be placed. We have permission from the family for this page.

Christina (Shelton) Rosendahl's husband Kristofer tragically passed away on July 29th. Kristofer was a great man and father and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. This fundraiser is to support Christina and her family. They were in the middle of moving for a job change for Kristofer. Dorothy's Medical Fund

As many of you have heard by now, Keith was involved in a serious accident in the early hours of the morning on Saturday January 27th.  Keith commutes from the Springs to Denver everyday for work and was just a few minutes from home when he fell asleep.   Immediately after the accident, Keith had 7 hours of surgery to stabilize him and ensure the injuries in his back would not cause any permanent damage.<br /><br />While Keith is still in the early phases of recovery, it is unclear exactly how long it will take him to be back at 100%.   Currently, they are suggestion that the initial recovery could take 2-3 months.  The fundraising goal we have set is really just an initial starting point of help.  This is so that Keith can have some cash on hand  and ensure that he can pay all of his regular bills over the next 2-3 months while he is out of work.  He will need immediate assistance to do things like buy groceries, arrange transportation, phone bill etc..<br /><br />Certainly, all of us who are reading this are coming from very different points in our life.  Some of us live in cap hill and feel a struggle to get by as it is.  Others are more established and can help more.  So, whether you can give $5, $10, $20 or maybe even a $100, everything we raise will help.

It is a complete loss, not one thing was salvaged. It has unfortunately burnt down to the foundation and that is even being filled in to put out flames. Due to a previous house fire several years ago, their home fire insurance was denied on a new policy. This leaves them in a difficult spot financially with no insurance money to replace the loss of their personal belongings and home. <br /><br />The Enfields need our love and support. They are good people who serve in their community and have loved and welcomed many into their home. Anything will help. Please help us ease the stress of this emergency for them by donating or even sharing this post.
