<div>If you have the good fortune of knowing Krysti Albus, then you already know she is one of the greatest people ever put on this Earth. Not only is she a single mother (aka the hardest job ever) but also a special education teacher (aka the second hardest job ever) and also a longterm cancer survivor. Despite these and many other hardships and losses in life, Krysti has always remained a beacon of hope, love and encouragement. She volunteers for the local radio station, WRIR, sharing her passion for music and community. She dotes on her friends and is cherished by her family. She gives the best hugs ever.

<div>After nearly two decades of remission, Krysti is once again having to battle with the BS that is tracheal cancer. This is following over a year of dealing with a horrific autoimmune disease that weakened her immune system, but never her will. This time she has sarcomatoid carcinoma, a rare and aggressive form. Adding much unneeded insult to injury, she also had to be hospitalized just recently to get an emergency temporary tracheostomy due to being unable to breathe.

<div>Because cancer does not care about anyone's worth or feelings, this literal angel on Earth now has to once again deal with fighting for her health, her ability to eat and talk normally, impacts on her career, her finances and quality of life.

Krysti's "F Cancer" Relief Fund!

<p>My name is Kim. My friends call me Kimmie. I’m raising money for the Bioness L300 Go devices for my left and right legs. They stimulate the nerves in my legs to help my feet lift up in a way they normally cannot. My insurance refuses to pay for them.<br /><br />I have Cerebral Palsy from birth and have never been able to walk without an aid. The devices allow me to walk independently both on level ground and up stairs, both without a cane.<br /><br />My doctors believe with some physical therapy and regular use of the Bioness, I will be able to retrain myself how to walk with a more normal walking pattern. <p>My hope is to learn how to run and raise funds for charity 5ks. I want to use what I have to give back.I also want to be able to walk and run with my dog Peanut without falling <br /><br />

<p>I don’t have a lot of money as I can’t drive due to my disability and right now I can only do online gig-work as an English tutor. It’s especially hard to find enough online work at this time. All my money, which I get paid about $1k monthly, gets put toward bills, and I have none left to save toward this cost of $7500. I’m unable to get any other aid.

<p>If I am able to exceed my fundraising goal of $7500 I would use any remaining funds toward the gofundme fees, adapted driving lessons, and a vehicle so I can learn how to drive with my hands instead of feet.

I’m starting this fundraiser for my husband Vincent who is one of the kindest humans I have ever met. Vincent is also generous to the point that he would never start a fundraiser for himself, but this is very important for him and therefore me as well.<br /><br />Vincent needs top surgery to make their body the way it has always been in his mind. We both work but have two children and most months are just struggling to stay above water. This means are unable to raise the necessary funds for this life affirming procedure ourselves and are humbly asking you for help at this point in our lives.

I have a rare inflammatory condition that causes the blood vessels in my eyes to become abnormal (not unlike  cancer).  This could happen at any time, in either eye, and for no apparent reason. The  blood vessels start to grow and leak blood and fluid inside my eye.  Without treatment, they will continue to grow until my retina detaches leaving me blind. Right now my vision in my left eye is rapidly losing vision. The only insurance I am able to afford, does not cover my treatment. I am mortified to do this. As I write this my embarrassment grows. I don't expect anything, and I know everyone is struggling. The whole world is stuggling. I'm just trying not to go blind. Thank you for even reading this. I love you all.
