<div>I am initiating this GoFundMe page to help out my close friend who has ongoing medical issues and needs some financial help to get her back on track. Here is her story:

<div>In 2016, <strong>I was diagnosed with a terminal lung disease called Pulmonary Fibrosis. I was given 3-5 years to live. I'm coming up on year 10.</strong>

<div>I have also dealt with severe depression my whole life. Needless to say, it's gotten to be more challenging because of my illness and being totally dependent on oxygen 24/7 and high-flow oxygen.


</div>

<div>My 18-year relationship ended in March 2024.


</div>


<div>It has been so difficult living alone and starting over with my severe illness and also the depression. I have had to do everything without any support or help.


</div>


<div>This past June, I had sunk into such a deep depression I couldn't shake. I had 3 med changes before I could function again.


</div>


<div>During this time, I was unable to work. I was trying to make ends meet driving for Uber, but I had gotten behind on my car payment and it snowballed from there. Uber had not been reliable, and getting behind made it impossible to catch up. I have not been able to buy food. I do get frozen meals delivered and have been able to eat those.

<div><strong>My car was repossessed on 9/25, but they are willing to let me buy it back by 10/11 next week.</strong> I have no support from family, so I'm asking for help here. Also, my electric wheelchair needs maintenance, and I need a foldable one to return to work.


</div>

<div>I'm getting help with job searching from a disability program that I will start the process with next week, but I need my car for going to work, transporting many oxygen tanks to last the day, and the foldable motorized wheelchair. Plus, for all my doctors' appointments and trips to get my medications.


</div>

<div>Once I return to work, I can catch up with other bills and my utilities. I've applied for every help program, but I am hitting roadblocks for various reasons. I will continue to pursue this kind of support.


</div>

<div>I've been distraught about all of this, and I figured out what I need to do to make it.


</div>


<div>With this help, I will be able to get my car back, and it will get me on track so I can move forward and return to work.
