<div>Please help support Sugar's cancer testing and treatment!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>About our girl...
</div>
<div>Sugar came to her family through Love-A-Bull, where they initially signed up to foster her. She came in in rough shape - fearful of everyone around her. Vic and Russ fell head over heels for her and gave her all the love she needed to heal. She went from a dog that hid and growled at people to one that demands love from everyone. She is truly everyone's favorite dog that meets her!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with cancer and had to have her front leg removed. She's still so young and so happy, so Vic and Russ want to give her as much time as possible. This means that in addition to her surgery, she is undergoing cancer treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We hope she becomes the miracle story and sticks around for years, so as long as she is happy and still so full of life, her family is committed to ongoing treatment. The expenses are high, but she's worth it! If you think so too, please consider donating any amount, big or small. Thank you!

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>My sister Xochitl was only 22 years old, but in that short time, she touched so many lives. She was the kind of person who always put others before herself, whether it was her friends, family, or even strangers in need. Her friends would often turn to her for advice and support, knowing she would do everything she could to help them. Xochitl’s selflessness and compassion were truly remarkable, and she gave so much of herself to those around her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tragically, Xochitl passed away in a vehicle accident. The loss has left our family heartbroken, and we are now facing the difficult task of saying goodbye and honoring her memory. The suddenness of her passing has brought unexpected expenses, and we are doing our best to support each other through this incredibly hard time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and to support our family as we navigate this loss. Because of your support, you are allowing my parents to focus on what my sister Xochitl would have wanted. Thank you for helping us honor her memory and for standing by our family. Your kindness and generosity mean more to us than words can express.

<div>On August 12, 2023, after a year-long struggle with mental illness, our family lost our youngest daughter Meadow to suicide. While our family suffers this tremendous loss, we know that there are other families and at-risk teenagers struggling with mental health challenges. <strong>We are raising money to put on a benefit concert for two important Austin-area organizations that address mental health concerns and help dispel the stigma of suicide within our community:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://www.outyouth.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Out Youth Austin</a> - An organization whose mission is to promote the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of sexual and gender minority youth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://simsfoundation.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SIMS Foundation</a> - An organization that provides mental health and substance use recovery services and support for musicians, music industry professionals, and their dependent family members.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The concert date is set for <strong>August 24, 2024 at </strong><a href="https://www.thefaroutaustin.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>The Far Out Lounge</strong></a>, with a capacity of 3,500 people, has generously offered to host the fundraising event. The lineup is TBA, but is already set for the event.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In order to have a successful event and dedicate <strong>100% of ticket sales towards the two named beneficiaries</strong>, there are numerous expenses associated with the venue which include sound, lighting, security, as well as promotional expenses. In addition, although many of the bands are generously donating their time, music-related expenses remain. This "gofundme" is to raise money for all known fees plus contingencies, with any leftover funds being dedicated equally to the two beneficiaries.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For corporate/entity sponsorships:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are requesting a minimum sponsorship amount of $500 with the following tiers:
</div>
<ul>
<li>$500 - Branding on Facebook event page banner + 2 GA tickets to the event
</li>
<li>$1,000 - Branding on Facebook event page banner, event poster, and company shoutout on the event page feed + 4 GA tickets to the event
</li>
<li>$2,500 - Everything included with the $1,000 sponsorship + an additional 2 VIP tickets to the event
</li>
<li>$5,000 - Everything included with the $1,000 sponsorship + an additional 4 VIP tickets to the event
</li>
<li>Top sponsor will received an autographed merchandise package from the two headlining acts
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our family is dedicated towards shining a bright light on the importance of mental health and wellness, and raising awareness regarding the threat of suicidal ideation.</strong> We hope to raise money and awareness in memory of Meadow!

En Memoria de Mildred Hortelano

<div>On April 14th, we lost Dylan Isamu Gerald, a kind and inspirational friend and family member.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are creating this GoFundMe in Dylan's memory to raise funds to help build a playground, as we know this is something he would have wanted to do.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dylan worked for Barnstable Public Schools before his passing, supporting their Before and After School Program, as well as the Child Development Center. His role with the Child Development Center was monumental, as he helped head the department, handling logistics, creating schedules, staffing, and even working directly with the kids in the classroom. He spent countless hours researching how to best serve the children and tried to implement what he learned every day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dylan always tried to make a child feel seen, and he wanted to let them know that they were special. He believed that every child he met would feel the same.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Before his tragic passing, Dylan was working on a project to build a new playground for the infant care program at the Barnstable School District. He had already started writing grants for the project but was unable to see it through to completion.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The district hopes to continue with his work and build a new playground for the children. We hope that these funds can help them achieve that goal even faster.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are grateful for your support of this project. Your donation will help make Dylan's dream a reality and continue to support the children and community that he loved, and loved him right back.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly to the Barnstable Public Schools District to build the new playground.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’d like, we are also supporting donations to Shalom Austin, another community that Dylan built and loved, in his memory.

Dylan Isamu Gerald Memorial Fundraiser

<div>Hi All,
</div>

<div>Our brave Eileen has undergone/continues to undergo very significant painful medical issues.
</div>

<ul>
<li>Recent Brain Surgery to remove tumor/Craniotomy
</li>

<li>Hemicrania Continua Headaches
</li>

<li>While recovering from Brain Surgery, all the disks in her neck became herniated and are pressing on her spinal cord, as well as the nerve down her arm, causing severe nerve pain
</li>

<li>Surgery is this Thursday Feb 24th
</li>

<li>Eileen is on Short Term Disability, as she is unable to work while she is recovering
</li>

<li>She is loosing her healthcare. Since she is not earning a paycheck, her healthcare will run out at the end of February.
</li>

<li>Disability covers not much more than her rent. And she will need to come up with additional funds for healthcare, medical insurance, and upcoming medical bills.
</li>

<li>She is not married, her kids are away in college, her mom has passed, sister is out of state; she is alone.
</li>

<li>She is very uncomfortable asking for help. So her childhood pals from Chicago are advocating for her.
</li>

</ul>
<div>Let's help her get through this painful and scary chapter so that she can have healthcare, medical bills, and basic needs met, until she is able to work again.
</div>

<div>Thank you for giving to the sweetest girl ever!<br />Come on, Eileen!  She means EVERYTHING!!

Eileen Schultz Elfezouaty needs your help!

<br />This week the world has lost a real life angel. Nick Rappa was a fellow son, brother, father, and friend of many. He was taken too soon. <br />Nick was a senior pediatric perfusionist at Children's OU Medical Center in OKC, OK. He loved working with children and helping them. During his limited time away from work, he also enjoyed the thrill of cars, motorcycles, and most importantly hanging out with all of his friends and family. <br />Nick loved the time he spent with his 3 year old daughter Reese. He loved working in the shop with her and watching her play. <br />He was the type of man who was always happy to help anyone the best he could, in any way he could! His main goal in life was to make sure his daughter, Reese, would have a safe and bright future. We ask that anyone who can help Reese in her time of need, just as Nick would have helped a friend's child if they were in need. <br />No matter the amount, every penny helps.<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://kfor.com/2018/10/12/metro-doctor-accused-of-driving-drunk-in-deadly-crash/?utm_campaign=trueAnthem%3A+Trending+Content&amp;utm_content=5bc12e8904d3012c8c4d7832&amp;utm_medium=trueAnthem&amp;utm_source=facebook"><a href="https://kfor.com/2018/10/12/metro-doctor-accused-of-driving-drunk-in-deadly-crash/?utm_campaign=trueAnthem%3A+Trending+Content&amp;utm_content=5bc12e8904d3012c8c4d7832&amp;utm_medium=trueAnthem&amp;utm_source=facebook" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://kfor.com/2018/10/12/metro-doctor-accused-of-driving-drunk-in-deadly-crash/?utm_campaign=trueAnthem%3A+Trending+Content&amp;utm_content=5bc12e8904d3012c8c4d7832&amp;utm_medium=trueAnthem&amp;utm_source=facebook</a></a>

Nick Rappa's daughter

Hello friends and family, I’m starting a Go Fund Me for my sister, Kelli Turbeville Whitford.  In January 2017, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy.  Recently she was  diagnosed in her other breast with an early stage of breast cancer, and will be having another mastectomy on September 4th.  She will do reconstruction this time. She is wife to Bob and mom to three beautiful daughters, Riley, Emery, and Marlee.  Due to the financial strain from medical bills from the first surgery, the upcoming surgery, and being off for an extended period of time, I’ve started this campaign for Kelli and her family. Please donate and share if you can, any support is appreciated.
