<div>Two years ago, I came to this community and asked for help as my sister Kathryn began her fight against cancer. Today, I have to share the very sad news that after her brave fight she has passed away.

<div>Kathryn fought with more strength and grace than we could ever have imagined. She lived life with energy, love, and courage and was always looking for a way to lift others. She was eternally loved by her husband, her children, her family, her friends and everyone who was lucky enough to know her, and that love carried her through these last two years.

<div>I want to thank every single person who has supported Kathryn and our family through this journey.  Know that your generosity gave her access to care and gave our family the ability to be present with her and gave her more precious time with her family. That gift meant more than words can say.

In Loving Memory of Kathryn Stevens - Support for the Family

<div>The doctor gave him three options: 1) have brain surgery to remove as much of his aggressive brain tumor as possible followed by radiation and chemo to give him the prospect of several months, 2) do nothing, arrange hospice care and prepare to say good-bye, or 3) forego the brain surgery and only receive radiation and chemo for a tumor that will continue a cruel march across the field that is his mind. Option 1 it is --- a true competitor goes down swinging.

<div>At a time when most of us --- the least and even the best of us --- would focus on our own needs, the woe-is-me needs when faced with the word terminal. He is not most of us and he is not the least of us. Many of you reading these words know him well. He likely knows you better. He knows your stats, your hometowns and your families. You were the focus of his high expectations of your potential, you were the recipient of the ‘perfect practice makes perfect’ mantra, the witness to trashcans that would never be the same after any given half time, the beneficiary of his deep investment, deeper worry and steadfast loyalty. By his side through 4 decades of two-a-days, scrimmages, games, seasons, breaking down film, recruiting and rankings, was his most steadfast supporter. His wife of 55 years, Beverly remains by his side and first and foremost in his mind.

<div>The worry Coach has expressed is not about his health or his future, but hers. He is worried that his health will ruin their careful planning for her future, that the expense of battling this tumor will break them, break her. What is the right amount to ask? We don’t know. What we do know is we’re in the tunnel before the big game against our biggest rival.

Aloha everyone. Thank you so much for all your love for my brother and our family. We are setting up this account for Maui's family to help pay for hospital bills, funeral expenses, etc. Mahalo.

This is our close friend Andrew. Andrew has to be one of the kindest, most soft-hearted people we know. Though he can be very quiet at times, he counteracts it with his warm personality and great laugh! <br /><br />Andrew has been living for years without any teeth, and he is only 29. Starting from a young age, Andrew has struggled with his teeth. Things only became worse after Andrew's father, a former highway patrolman, was in an accident that caused him to have many health problems. His father continued to struggle with his health until he finally passed away in 2009. After his father's death, Andrew's teeth exponentially worsened until all, but his wisdom teeth, had to be pulled. <br /><br />After the accident, Andrew's mom started working full-time as a RN to support their family. But soon after, she received the news that she had brain cancer. An operation was done to remove the tumor but unfortunately, her long and short-term memory were affected in the removal of the tumor. Because of this, she is no longer able to work. The family's only source of income now comes from Andrew's older brother, Jared, who works at Walmart as a shelf stocker.<br /><br />The financial toll that has been placed on this family is truly great. But through your help, we would love to see Andrew get his smile back! We know this will help him to make great strides towards reaching his goals and help his family get back on their feet. <br /><br />Andrew has been to the prosthodontist several times, and we are continuing the visits to make a game plan. To get his smile back would require at least four implants that cost $1750.00 each, and that is just the beginning! We all have things that we at times take for granted. But teeth usually aren't on that list. Please help us help Andrew get his teeth back!<br /><br />All of your donations are greatly appreciated!

He was a beautiful little boy with the most infectious smile that made everyone around him smile.  With his adorable glasses and lovable personality, he will be missed by everyone that knew him, most of all by his loving mom and dad and two older brothers. His sudden passing has left us all devastated.  We are asking all of our friends and family for thoughts and prayers and where possible, financial support for hospital bills as well as the planning of his memorial services. Please consider donating and sharing with everyone to support the Quinn family at this time.
