 Crisi Lee is a brilliant light who came to The Dalles less than five years ago and has already left an indelible mark on so many lives. Whether someone has shared a laugh with Crisi in town or experienced her compassionate care as a telemetry nurse at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge, there is no doubt Crisi has touched this community in a lasting way. Whitney is organizing this fundraiser for Crisi as she faces an incredibly difficult and life-changing battle. Crisi was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer that may result in lower limb amputation. After spending so much of life caring for others, Crisi is now in the heartbreaking position of needing that same care and support in return.

 Because of this diagnosis and the challenges ahead, Crisi is unable to work due to the physical demands of her job as a nurse. This fundraiser is meant to help ease some of the overwhelming burdens Crisi and her husband, Walt, are carrying during this time. The funds will help with living expenses, medical bills, and rehabilitation as Crisi prepares for treatment, recovery, and the long road ahead. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, will make a huge difference for Crisi Lee. <p>Jose was diagnosed with covid-19 on may 16th 2021 and was rushed to UMC by ambulance on may 19th where he was put in icu and was later intubated within 24 hours. Since then he has had seizures, multiple strokes, and both lungs collapsed. He has had chest tubes put in both lungs. After 13 days he had a tracheotomy where he would continue on his ventilator. Since then he has had to learn to walk, eat, talk, and do basic motor skills again. After 71 days the ventilator was removed and is now on a trache collar and is breathing room air! He has gotten orders to be removed out of icu and to step down. A facility was talked about but is not longer needed so he will be coming home to do home healthcare. Jose still has a long road to recovery ahead of him but is still fighting so hard! We thank everyone for the continued prayers for  Jose and our family!

God will put you in the right place at the right time.  For me that was a Steakhouse in Madisonville TX about a month ago.  I was passing through and stopped to watch the Aggie game.  Monday i was scheduled to go to child custody court.  The entire process was weighing on me and I started venting to my waitress.  She too has a young daughter.  We talked about our daughters, building mobile home parks, Aggie football, and everything else.  <br /><br />She had just bought a new car.  Worked two jobs 70+ hours a week.   Her two biggest advantages were she owned her home and her daughter was healthy.<br /><br />All that changed last Friday.  She lost her house in a fire and her daughter was injured in the process.  Her daughter has burns on both her homes and face.  I believe she had surgery today.  And just like that everything they had as a family was gone, including their pets.<br /><br />The first and only day I met Bridget I left inspired.  The grit she showed working for her family so hard is something to be admired.  It's not rare that people work hard, but it is rare they do it with pride.  That inspired me.  Made me want to work harder.<br /><br />Today when she asked me if I knew of any cheap mobile homes I thought she was listening to my advice about building a mobile home park on their land.  Turns out it was my turn to repay her.<br /><br />I wish we were at the point in our business that we could take this service on without having to ask for help.  But the truth is we just aren't there yet.  We can do all the work, we just need yalls help to buy the home and furniture.<br /><br />I've already reached out to our mobile home dealer Clayton Homes in Corsicana.  They are holding a new home for us Morgan said we could get it at cost.<br /><br />I reached out to Blair at United Rentals in Waco and she is supplying us with a mini X.  Our guys will be out over the weekend to remove the old home and do the site prep.<br /><br />Our goal is to raise this money before the middle of next week so we can have the home set, plumbed, and skirted before Christmas.  This may seem like an aggressive goal, but I know our network is capable.  <br /><br />Our ultimate goal is to serve in such a capacity, that all they have to do is take care of their baby girl and not worry about having a home to come home to.<br /><br /><br />

Kaegan was in a serious car accident 11/14 Tuesday morning. He is on life support at this time but will be removed after his organs that he is donating are placed. You would always give the shirt off your back. Even when you were little you expected me to give to all and not expect anything in return. You were 1 of a kind. I am so proud to be your mother. You never let me down and always were so strong. Fly high Kae. Watch over us and keep your sisters safe. You will truly be missed every second of every day.
