<div>On Tuesday, March 8th, in Cleveland, OH, Mike and Amanda Lenix got the call any parents fear. The Lenix family lost their beautiful one-month-old daughter Micah and 1 year old son Mike Jr. in a house fire. While dealing with this tragedy and grief, they also lost their house. We are asking for financial support so that the family can cover funeral expenses, personal items lost in the fire, help with housing, and relief to allow the family to mourn during this time.

<div>“Due to the fact that my health situation has changed, I am scheduled for liver surgery March 9th in Colorado. I will have the 8-hour surgery at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Denver. The surgeon is internationally known in the cancer community. Lately my tumors have been making an overabundance of hormones which has caused a very dangerous and life-threatening syndrome called Carcinoid Crisis. So, the best solution is to "debulk" my liver. He will remove as many tumors from my liver as he can which will obviously eliminate their ability to create these mass amounts of hormone. I told him I want pictures of those suckers! The really great part of this is it will rewind the clock so to be speak. I am officially done with chemo which is such a relief! After the surgery, it will just be scans and monitoring to make sure nothing new develops.

Help Katie Patton with Travel & Medical Expenses

On 02-11-21 Kris was diagnosed with a recurrence of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Kris had her first battle with stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in late 2016. She underwent 6 months of ABVD chemotherapy which she completed in February 2017. She will need to undergo 3 months of ICE chemotherapy starting 2-22-21 followed by a bone marrow transplant. Kris’s passion is helping others which is why she decided to become an EMT. She has worked for Donald Martens for the last 2 years where caring and advocating for her patients has been such a fulfilling career.

<div>Kris has been unable to work since 1-21-21 and is currently pending approval of social security disability benefits. These benefits can take up to five months to receive upon approval. In the meantime Kris is in need of help with her basic living expenses. Due to COVID-19 and her fragile immune system, we figured it would be safer to do this instead of having a fundraiser. <p>**UPDATE**<br /><br />I am Nikki, I have known the Ponomarenko family since before I was even born. Jax's Grandfather and my Father have been friends for a very long time.  I have known the Cherni family for several years, I went to school with Jax's mother.

Unexpected Expenses

I never in life thought I’d be making anything like this and with a heavy heart here I am! <br />Sadly Saturday night/ Sunday morning around 230am my brother Nick Vanik was out celebrating his birthday with his wife and some friends. They finished the night at JB Tavern where they were outside waiting for there Uber. As they were waiting for their Uber they were <b><i>brutally attacked by a man and women walking down the street</i></b><i>.</i> My brother was attacked and shot from behind one shot to the back of the head and one on the side of his neck. <b>No prior alterations, no verbal argument nothing at all caused this terrible tragedy!</b> <br /><br />The man who pulled the trigger is a <i>reoccurring</i> <i>felon</i> who was out looking for trouble that night. He so thoughtlessly pulled the trigger that so easily could have taken the life of a <b>very hard working father of three beautiful children!</b> 911 was called and he was rushedto metro. <i>Thankfully</i> he is on the road to recovery but unfortunately <b>NOT YET</b> out of the woods! Because of this awful tragedy he will unfortunately be out of work for the time being leaving him and his family in a tough spot when it comes to their financial needs! <br /><br />My brother is a guy who is always down to help anyone in need without being asked twice no matter what the situation is. Nick is the type of person who will give you the shirt off his back and not think twice about it. No matter who or how much he has helped never asks for help in return &amp; even now when he needs it the most he stays humble and refuses to ask for the help and support he so greatly deserves!<br /><br />I made this GoFund me account for him to help raise money to cover his rent and utility bills to also help provide food for his children along with the ridiculous amount of medical expenses that are already piling up &amp; still yet to come ! <br /><br />This is a very scary heartbreaking time for our family and any uplifting kind support would be beyond appreciated !

Nicks road to recovery after brutally attacked

Ethan was the most loving, kind human being that most of us will ever know. His unexpected passing was a shock to all who loved him. There is no question that Ethan deserves a memorial service where we can all celebrate his life and how great of a guy he really was.
