We are raising money for Lt. Conrad Matos. If you own an FDNY EMS challenge coin , Conrad probably had a hand in making it. He has a 20+ year career in FDNY EMS and was at 9/11. Conrad recently had brain surgery due to a 9/11 related illness. We are raising money to help him and his family while he starts his recovery. All money raised will go to Conrad to help ease the burden of living expenses so he and his wife can focus on his health and recovery.

After leaving his 30+years as a Paramedic, Brian achieved his goal of becoming an ICU nurse. While treating multiple Covid patients, he himself has fallen Ill with this horrible disease. Currently Brian is in an ICU, close to his home fighting everyday for his life. Those of you that know him and have heard, know that everyday has been a challenge and things haven’t been getting any better for him. Let’s all help Brian and his wife Debra out with all their added upcoming expenses, any donation would help and I’m sure would be appreciated. Let’s all continue to keep him in our prayers.

Lets help our friend Brian Saddler!!

English: On Monday the 10th of June 2019 my brother Alfred passed away, leaving us all torn apart. Aside the pain we have also faced the complex task of bringing him back from Thailand,so he may rest in peace close to his family and friends. Alfred not only supported our family in Venezuela, but he also supported and brought me over from Venezuela to live with him in Madrid. It was in Madrid that I helped him with the business that he had just started and was so passionate about. Many of you have asked how to help us. Many have also suggested that I start a campaign to raise funds to help my family and I dealing with this horrible situation. Donations would help cover the expenses of bringing Alfred home and allow me to continue to live in Spain and continue my brother’s business in homage to him, the company for which he worked so hard and had great expectations. For those who want to help we kindly ask to make a donation of any amount - all amounts will help. We thank you from the bottom of our heart. Valentina

FDNY EMS Captain Jason Saffon was hit by a car while riding his bike home from work. He suffered serious injuries to both legs, that required multiple surgeries from different specialists. These injuries will keep him hospitalized for months and then he will need rehabilitation for a couple of months afterward. The insurance doesn't cover all expenses so the medical bills are causing a serious financial hardship for him and his family. Jason is not only an excellent captain and leader, He's a good father and human being who a has always stepped up to help others when they needed help. I'm asking for everyone to now help him and his family. Any financial assistance provided would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

For those that know me, you know this is not an easy task for me. I too often don’t and won’t ask for help even though I need it. This time, I have to set my pride aside because Koa and her health and well being are far more important! Those who knew me before Koa and after, know how special she is to me and how much she rescued me! Koa has to have knee surgery for both a cruciate ligament tear and a level 3 luxating patella both in her left knee. This is already causing pain and limping as well as the beginning of arthritis for my pup that’s not even 2 yet. Any amount will help in the surgery and after care! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me! Thanks in advance for any support!

On the night of 3/17/18 on Ocean Drive a MBPD Motorman Office Delcaso had a bottle thrown at his head. Fortunately, his quick actions avoided him from being hit in the head. He raised his arm but the bottle that was thrown with so much force fractured his wrist and sadly split his wedding ring in half. We wish Officer Delcaso a flawless recovery and thank him for his service. That said, we have started this GoFund account to help Officer Delcaso repair his wedding ring.

I had been in Atlanta for work last week and was meeting friends in West Palm Beach for the weekend. Since Kamil had just moved to Miami, it was a perfect excuse to fly there on Thursday and spend some time with him. Kamil moved to Miami from Dallas on January 8, 2018 to be the Operations Manager for Prada Bal Harbour. Prior to this, he worked for Louis Vuitton for six years in Dallas which is where we became friends. My name is Katy Park, and I work full time for Young Life in the Dallas area. Kamil picked me up from the airport around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 and by midnight, he was gone. He never met a stranger, went out of his way to help people, was an incredible, loyal friend, and loved his family more than anything or anyone. He loved dive bars and I love karaoke, so around 10:30 p.m. we walked from his apartment, down Ocean Drive to Mac's Deuce Bar, a well-known local favorite. We had one drink, talked and laughed, and I asked how long he was going to live there before he started to wear sandals year-round. He told me he would let me know when we got to the next place. We finished our drinks, said goodbye to the doorman and started walking to the karaoke bar. That’s when time stopped. A small African American male got out of the passenger side of a white car pointing a gun at us. He fired two shots that hit Kamil in the left shoulder and abdomen, then got back in the car and disappeared. I am alive because Kamil protected me. He didn’t hesitate. His last words were “Katy, keep walking.” Kamil's family and friends will celebrate his life on February 3, 2018, his 30th birthday in Buffalo, NY. All donations will go directly to and be used by the Patel family to help offset the cost of funeral and memorial expenses as well as add to the reward offered by the Miami-Dade Police Department. Kamil's killer and his accomplice are still at large. I want the people who did this to know that there is an army of people, an army of resourced family, friends and co-workers, who will not rest until we find justice for Kamil Patel. If you have any information on this shooting, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can remain anonymous and you may be eligible for a monetary reward. The latest news update on the case is available here: LATEST NEWS UPDATE

Justice for Kamil Patel

I am humbly asking for help for my family in Moca, Puerto Rico. Go Fund Me takes 10% of the proceeds but I figured I'll create a page for those that would feel more comfortable donating through a site such as this. For my family and friends that care to message me privately please do so. I will donate 100% of any and all proceeds directly to multiple family members in Puerto Rico. My family is a proud one, and it is no surprise that characteristic is one that lives within me as well. As such, it has been difficult to get a determination of the full scope of the damage they have experienced. After a brief conversation with my stepmother, it was clear they are suffering and struggling much more than they let on. As a result, I have decided to spearhead a collection to help them in any way I can. I am flying down for two days to see firsthand how bad they are affected and what they need. I do know they suffered damages to the home, lost appliances and bad damage to one or more of their vehicles....this all of course comes secondary to the basic essentials they will need to endure the several weeks and months ahead with no power and severely limited resources. This problem is bigger than all of us, but even the smallest donations will help ease the pain and suffering of many. This disaster has been a humbling experience for me, and I have not stopped thinking about how fragile life is and hoe important it is to come together and lift those that may need help and are too proud to ask for it. God bless you all, and thank you for listening to my plea. Please share with as many people as possible. Thank you. GoFundMe requested that I include the following information: Who you are and where you’re from - My name is Erik Valentin I live in West Palm Beach, Florida. A large portion of my family, including my father, brothers, sister, godmother, aunts uncles and cousins have been greatly affected by hurricane Maria. I set up this go fund me account so that I can fly to Puerto Rico and disperse the funds directly to them. Your relationship or contact to the parties you're raising funds for - The funds are intended to go directly to my father, stepmother, brothers, sister and nephew as a primary and aunts, uncles and cousins as a secondary. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible) this is still unclear. The allocation will be based on what is most needed and what will make the best impact to help them get through the next couple of months. Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiary/ies I intend on withdrawing the funds and donating as much cash as necessary and purchasing things such as appliances and nonperishable goods once I am in Puerto Rico. I have also already purchased my own ticket to fly down for 30 hours. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you need anything else. This is my first time attempting to raise funds for a cause and I am trying to wing it as best as I can.

EL PUEBLO DE PUERTO RICO SE LEVANTA

We have angels watching over our dear friends who have been through a lot. George has been helping others in a TEXAS with the hurricane. As they are getting their home secured for the next hurricane, a horrible accident happens. While Jonathan is getting gas for their generators, a fire sparks in the trunk of the car. Fortunately he only has mild burns and got away but the car went up in flames. This carried into the garage which caused the propane tank to explode. The fire totaled the garage and the smoke and soot totaled the rest of the house. Their beautiful home is a total loss. They will be living elsewhere until their home is rebuilt. They lost everything. Thankfully their dog was saved, but Jonathan's mothers bird was lost. All of their furniture, Christmas decorations and memories. Fortunately they have insurance but it will take time to get that policy payout. We want to help them get some of their necessities and start to rebuild their lives. George is a dear friend from childhood. We are in Michigan.

Help George and Jonathan

On June 20, 2017 our dear family member, Oscar Nelson Lopez, died tragically due to a heart attack. Earlier this year we had both our grandparents Antonio Pastor and Segunda Pastor pass away as well, which were both 6 months apart. Our family had to gather up money for not only one, but two funerals. Now, again 6 months later we have another tragic death and another funeral to pay for. At the moment our family doesn't have the means to pay for a 3rd funeral. Any donations would be a blessing and tremendous help while our family is mourning the loss of our beloved brother, uncle, and great friend. Thank you and God bless. He will live in our hearts eternally.

My neighbors Phyllis and Anthony are family. Anthony was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. When they came home from the hospital there was an eviction notice on their door, of no fault of their own. As you can imagine, their world has turned upside down. I'm hoping to raise some money for them in order to cover moving costs. Please, help their difficult transition by contributing today. Also, your prayers will kindly be received. Thank you Patti

We are trying to raise money to help Michael with his medical bills & living expenses. On top of fighting Cancer & going in & out of remission for the past few years, he was just recently diagnosed this past summer with Hypertrophic Cardio-Myopathy. Let's just say him fighting ever since would be quite an understatement. Michael who is 44 knows that he has a family history of this disease. His father died at 37 & his grandfather at 45. Knowing that has made this fight very scary & difficult for him, causing him to have much emotional distress & to have many restless nights. Not good when the doctors orders have been to be calm, relaxed & to get plenty of rest. He flew home to Boston to have a procedure to have a defibrillator put in thinking he'd be back to Miami Beach in 2 weeks time. TWO procedures later his recovery took much longer then he expected & he ended up spending 3 months out of work up in Boston living back at home with his family. He has now had 2 heart procedures since August & the last one was unfortunately completely unsuccessful. Michael's side effects from this heart disease makes him now unable to work & he has been ordered by his doctors to literally "stay in bed" in between procedures. Even walking to the mailbox has become a major effort & dangerous. Only last week he woke up on the ground to his best friend’s dog licking his face & had to be rushed to the hospital yet again. He has spent over 30 days over the last 6 weeks at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach. After the unsuccessful procedure Mt. Sinai discharged Michael & said they didn't feel they could perform the surgery without making Michael's quality of life significantly impacted. Michael was then transferred to the Cleveland Clinic where he fortunately found a Doctor willing to take his case. Within the next 7 days time his Surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic in Miami will be performing the most serious & most risky procedure yet. Michael's Insurance has helped cover only 80% of all these procedures & this new procedure alone will be an upwards of $250,000.00 USD. This account will not only help pay his medical expenses, but since he has now lost his job & his home it will help him get back on his feet. Once he gets through this major heart surgery & its long recovery that is. Anything you can do donate will be beyond appreciated whatever the amount. Michael's closest friends know many people in the Cities of Miami, New York & Boston know Michael as the Nightclub Impresario, the performer, the artist, the host, the promoter, the face at the 'door', but any of you who have truly shared a moment with Michael know the special human being that he is. He is truly one of a kind. Please help us help him. With much love & gratitude.
