Hi friends, my name is Diana. 21 years ago I was blessed to give birth to a beautiful baby boy. His name was Julian Thomas Walsh. Tho his time cut short, in 21 years he taught me that strength comes in many forms, not just physical. Julian was strength and determination personified. He battled everyday having a mental war. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder at 12 he pushed forward in school obtaining straight A's. He wanted to give back to the mental health community majoring in college studying psychology, voted class vice president and mentoring other students. As you know mental health unlike anything physical, you cannot see the "boo-boo" within the brain, but just because you can't see something doesn't mean it's not there and Julian struggled daily. Unfortunately he did not win this final battle and apparently God thought his purpose is now better served in heaven. Please help me raise money to give Julian the transition he deserves with a memorial that reminds us that death though painful to say goodbye, we come together to share in the memories that celebrate the life of my beautiful baby boy, my heart n soul Julian Thomas Walsh.

**************UPDATE 10/17/2020************** We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for the overwhelming love, prayers, support and selfless generosity extended to our family as we deal with this traumatic situation. **************************************************** On the early morning of Tuesday October 6, 2020, our 61-year old mother, Helen Jones, was attacked by an unknown masked man who assaulted her by throwing an array of chemicals in her face. Helen, an essential worker, was on her way to work from her Germantown area home in Philadelphia. This chemical attack has left her blind in both eyes and her face burned. Our family was not prepared for such devastation. Friends, family, neighbors, and strangers have asked how they can help after seeing Helen's story on the news - https://6abc.com/chemical-attack-woman-injured-in-face/6814017/ and https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2020/10/14/germantown-woman-who-had-chemical-thrown-in-face-in-unprovoked-attack-is-now-blind-family-says/ . In addition to lost wages, Helen now has a number of medical bills, trauma therapy needs, appointments, daily prescriptions, and disability service needs that are adding up quickly. We are establishing this fund to help us navigate the endless bills and devastation this unknown masked man has caused Helen and our family. Helen's road to recovery is just beginning and we appreciate all of you who want to help us help her. If you would like to donate to the family directly to avoid fees, feel free to contact us for other options. Our sincerest thanks for your prayers and support, The Family of Helen Jones
