<div>An estimated 97%-99% of victims of sexual exploitation are women and girls, and it takes place every day, everywhere. We are doing all we can, in collaboration with others to prevent this from happening in-person and online, especially to children and young people.
</div>

</div>
<div>The NSPCC estimates that approx. 500,000 children experience abuse in the UK annually, and child sexual exploitaion has increased. Children as young as 11 are increasingly being targeted by sextortion criminals, who coerce victims into sharing intimate images and blackmailing them.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Education is vital </strong>in preventing abuse and exploitation, by equipping children and young people with knowledge, as education empowers them to recognise and report inappropriate behaviour, reducing vulnerability and being exploited.
</div>
