<div>I'm reaching out to you today because our dear friend, Yelena, recently shared with me how challenging things have been for her and her family. As she bravely navigates her cancer treatment, the medical bills have become quite expensive, adding a significant financial strain on top of the emotional uncertainty they're facing.

<div>We all know Yelena and the incredible love, support, and wonderful wit she brings into our lives. She's always been there for so many of us, and now I was hoping we could show her some love and support in return.

<div>We are starting this fund for the Livengood Family. Christina has been a friend to us for over two decades now. Her husband, John, received a partial liver transplant from his sister after being diagnosed with a very rare cancer, perihilar cholangiocarcinoma, in 2012. He has been on immunosuppressants ever since and has struggled with bouts of Crohn's and multiple hospital admissions over the years for biliary obstructions. His transplant is now failing him and with a very high MELD score has been moved up to the top of Mayo's liver transplant list. His kidneys are now beginning to fail as well. He is fighting for his life with his wife Christina, utterly exhausted, by his side. They are facing medical bills for MARS treatment (a machine that essentially functions as dialysis for the liver) until a liver becomes available. They have two very young, precious kids that John would
