Livin.org is a local not-for-profit charity, founded on the Gold Coast  in 2013 that sees the importance of breaking the stigma of mental health for ALL people. They travel around the country visiting schools, sporting  and corporate groups  or whoever is interested in raising awareness around the  symptoms, warning signs and effective language of mental health issues including, most importantly where to get help.  How is this for a statistic, suicide is the BIGGEST killer of Australians aged from 15-44.  This is BULLSHIT on every possible level. What are we as the people doing to create a greater discussion about this in our immediate families, in our friendship circles and in the wider community? What are we doing to contribute to reducing and preventing this before its too late? We are a group of 75 men, women, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons - just like you, involved in the Extreme Leadership program by Alexi Panos and Preston Smiles (look those guys up - now!) on a collective mission alongside Livin.org to aid in the prevention of mental health issues in Australia by treating the causes in their infancy. LET’S GET THIS GOING! Let’s raise $50,000 by Sunday 19th of May at 6pm  to assist Livin.org to train new facilitators and pay for outsourced mental health training for a much wider reach. Donate what you can, spread the link and if you feel called to share on a social media platform how mental health has affected yourself, or those you love. But this cause goes so far beyond raising these funds by Sunday or having a viral hashtag. This is so much bigger. It could be as little as having that conversation. Reaching out. For yourself or for those you know may not be able to reach out for themselves. Let’s speak up. Bring it to the forefront.
