<div>Hi, my name is Merry, I have been in and out of the hospital last year and this year. But since February I got sick really bad and GP is investigating for POTS Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome because I have been passing out everyday even in the public place and my heart rate goes up. Had abdominal pain and stayed in the hospital for 4 days and they found out I have cyst on my left ovary. They didn’t do surgery, they want to wait for 6 weeks to see if it grows. And after 1 week I had bad chest pain I thought I’m having heart attack but then after two weeks I was in emergency and the doctor said I have pericarditis which is inflammation around my heart. After two weeks it’s getting worse I went back to emergency and doctor said I have collapsed upper lobe lung and there’s a spot that they don’t know what is it. I have done lots of test. I was in the hospital Hervey bay for 4 days and they decided to sent me here in royal Brisbane women’s hospital to do

<div>bronchoscopy. I had my bronchoscopy Friday the 21 of March and I was asleep the whole time and didn’t feel a thing. The next day my doctor who done my bronchoscopy went to see me around 11 in the morning and told me about what happened when he did my bronchoscopy. He said I’m likely have lung cancer the way he sees it and it’s all over my wind pipe and he will do more test. I was devastated to hear the news and I called everyone to pray for me and my husband called everyone too. Sunday and Monday morning we just keep crying because I never smoke or drink and how did I get this. But then Monday came we were waiting for the doctor to see us as we need answers. The doctor went to see me around 5. The doctor said we will still wait for the other biopsy results. We are praying it’s not cancer.<span> The money we are going to raise is to help us while I’m in the hospital and not working because of my condition and for my family to be with me here in Brisbane as I need my family to emotionally support me in all these difficult times.</span>

Her warmth, strength, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

<div>On Feb 27th 2022 Lismore was hit with their biggest flood ever! Despite the risk to their home, Arrow spent the entire day helping save lismore locals from raging flood waters, upon coming home to Woodburn late that afternoon, exhausted, they realised the impending threat upon their own home between Woodburn &amp; Evans Head.
</div>

<div>Despite their best efforts to move all their valuables high up, the waters rose much high than anyone expected and reached well above their 2nd floor. They have lost everything! No insurance, little to no savings &amp; no now no home!
</div>

<div>As the waters began to rise around their home, their only hope for survival with their three young children was to climb into their boat with the clothes on their back, a backpack each for their kids and their phones.
</div>

<div>Everything else was left behind, including their pet chooks, Arrows Cockatoo Cocky, who had not left Arrows side for over 20 years, the kids budgies &amp; all their belongings.
</div>

<div>The night was terrifying. Boat tied to the side of their house as hour by hour they watched their whole lives sink below the water level.
</div>

<div>Arrows business is Arrows Fishing Charters. He has lost countless dollars worth of fishing reels, rods, and supplies.
</div>

<div>Their three cars all gone, only one was uninsured. Even though they had lost everything, come sun up Arrow was back out on the water helping and saving stranded locals yet again! with less then 4 hours sleep over 48 hours he kept pushing on. Savannah staying home to look after their three children and keep them calm during what was and still is such a stressful and anxious time.

<div>Savannah being a local childcarer is known by many in the Woodburn &amp; Evans Head community, having cared for many local children and Families.
</div>

<div>Please help them start the process of rebuilding their lives! Their house will need to be completely rebuilt from the inside and their belongings are all but gone.<span style="font-size:1.0625rem;"> <br />Any amount even $1 will help kickstart the process of rebuilding their home and life...</span>
