Ms. Sellers has been denied her right to be heard on the deprivation of her parental rights. 


What happened? On May 19, 2021 at only 2 days old, Zephaniah was taken from his mother unnecessarily by the Kentucky Child Protection System (CPS). Zephaniah's mother was misjudged by Baptist Hospital Lexington and assaulted by law enforcement and hospital security. Ms. Sellers attempted to leave the hospital after being discharged home by a medical doctor. Ms. Sellers rights were violated and she was held against her will at the hospital. Ms. Sellers has not neglected her newborn but yet she is forced to face another day without her child in her custody. This is NOT right. This is NOT justice.
