Our brother Tom and his partner Chris have lost everything- their home and all its contents in the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles. The devastation is unimaginable. Help Tom and Chris After Fire

<div>Corinna Alice Claire Yodice was born on 9/13/24 at 10:43 pm. She’s a strong, feisty, beautiful little lady.
</div>

<div>We originally thought everything was okay, but within about 24 hours, they noticed her skin was starting to have some blisters and was very sensitive. We then almost lost her on 9/14 due to some complications with the blisters in her mouth and just being premature, as they sometimes just forget to breathe. We advocated for her to be transferred to Children’s Hospital of Philly, and by the grace of God, they had an open room in the NICU for her. We have been down in Philly since Sunday night (9/15/24). She is doing well down here and is surrounded by amazing doctors and nurses.

<div>They are pretty sure she has Epidermolysis Bullosa or EB. It’s terrifying when you look it up. She’s our little butterfly girl. We don’t know what kind she has yet but are getting genetic testing done, and once that is done, we will know within two weeks what her and our lives will look like moving forward.

<div>CHOP is exceeding our expectations. Apparently, the leading pediatric dermatologist at CHOP is one of the leading doctors in the United States for EB, so we are in the right place.
</div>

<div>That’s the update as of September 17. Things change by the minute, but since we got to CHOP, it’s at least been some positive changes for two days now. We have to take all the positive we can get it.
</div>

<div>We plan on temporarily moving to Philly next week and found housing about 10 minutes away.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have had a lot of love and support of people asking what can be done to help. Sometimes it is simply an ear, a shoulder, a hug but we (the immediate family) are trying to eliviate some of the financial stress as well with your help.  On top of medical expenses, they will be supporting their current house as well as their temporary housing in Philly, and will be down to only one income.   Please consider making a donation of any size.

<div>Antonio Jose "Toñito" Martinez was a beloved father, devoted husband, active community member, and loyal friend to all. In his youth, in Montenegro, Colombia, he volunteered for the Ministry of Civil  Defense. This same spirit of helpfulness carried on to his passion as a mechanic, where he was always willing to assist anyone in need.

<div>He moved to Dover in 1996, helping people through his passion as a mechanic for over 40 years, and even recently, became the owner of Antonio's Garage formerly Moncada's Auto Repair. 
</div>

<div>On February 26th, 2023, at the age of 57, Antonio suddenly and unexpectedly passed. <strong>Any funds raised here will be given to Antonio's family to help cover memorial service costs and family expenses. </strong>

Help Antonio's (Toñito) Family.

Update on Jaxson.     

Jaxson has started his 2nd of 3 cycles of high dose chemotherapy with stem cell transplant.  These cycles require 3-6 week stays in the hospital.  So far he is tolerating the treatment very well and we pray this continues.

When Jaxson finishes the last cycle he is at extremely high risk for illness.  All illnesses.  This treatment depleted his immune system leaving his susceptible to everything.  Any vaccine that he has ever received is gone.  Because of this, he will be unable to go out.  He will be unable to spend holidays, birthdays or any special events with his extended family.  Depending on how he recovers and the status of COVID, some restrictions could be lifted 3 months after transplant but many restrictions remain for a year after his transplant.  Mom will have to remain home full time with Jaxson and will be unable to work.  We appreciate any help you can offer.  Thank you!
