I am a cancer survivor and wish to give back to all those who supported me. I also rode in the annual HIV/AIDS ride for several years and enjoy cycling
- Winding down this August challenge. Before the day leave us, I wanted to thank all of you for supporting me. Your donations helped me surpass last year's total and will help fight this battle against cancer. Had my 6 month blood draw this afternoon--I am reminded that once diagnosed, always present in our lives. Again, thank you so much.
- Finished today with 28 miles - put me over 300 with a total of 303 miles! Latest from ACS is all of us have helped raise over $197,000--I am sure by tomorrow's end that will top 200K. Thank you to all of you for your help on this. Still have another day left to seek donations, so again if you know anyone who might be interested in donating please share my link. @americancancersociety

- Hi all....I am up to 226 miles. I will spend next 4 days finishing and with the weather finally breaking I will take the bike out on the road. Thanks to you all for your support! @americancancersociety
- Today was tough--rode an extra 5 miles for total of 30 and now I have surpassed 200 miles. Fighting cancer is tough too--anxiety over diagnosis, medical terms you do not understand, plans with a variety of options that make no sense to you and percentages of survival now become your reality. Today I rode for a friend battling colon cancer-a fight he lives with daily. Please, if you haven't send my link to others--let's keep the momentum going into the last week. @americancancersociety
