<div>Hi, I'm Marcus. I was recently diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure. It requires I have dialysis 3 times a week for the rest of my life, or until I get a kidney transplant. <strong>I've been blessed to have multiple offers for kidney donation.</strong> I just have to get back to Austin to start the process. <strong>I'm raising funds to help in the relocation and associated costs for the pre and post transplant expenses.</strong> I have health insurance, but also have Sickle Cell Anemia. I'm not sure how much will be covered by my provider, and want to not have any hiccups. <strong>Prayer has gotten me to the age of 51 and I give all glory to God.</strong> Thank you for any size donation. <div>Cheryl Lynn Irvin dedicated her life to the education and well-being of others. She is the founder of the private school, New Alkebulan Education in South Florida. Cheryl made a significant impact on our community.

<div>In October 2023, she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a severe form of cancer that affected her heart and left lung.

<div>We collaborate with postdoctoral appointees and staff to enrich the STEM pipeline by mentoring and providing scholarships to African-American youth who have a passion for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). These efforts help prepare the next generation to become leaders in STEM, while simultaneously building awareness around research opportunities.

<div>AAA-ERG offers annual scholarships <a href="https://blogs.anl.gov/aaa-erg/scholarships" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong><a href="https://blogs.anl.gov/aaa-erg/scholarships/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://blogs.anl.gov/aaa-erg/scholarships/</a></strong></a> to promising Illinois high school students to help fund their STEM academic goals. The AAA-ERG Academic Scholarship awards needs-based scholarships in the amounts of $2,500, $1500 and $500 to high school students pursuing a college degree in a STEM-related field. Scholarship applicants must be US citizens, residents of the Chicagoland surrounding areas, and received first-year admittance to a college or university.
