<div>My name is Shane Witcher, and I’m raising funds for my friend Ray — a former Marine, disabled combat veteran, husband, and father of two young sons.

<div>Ray’s small business has been hit hard by seasonal slow downs, leaving him without steady work. To make matters worse, his wife was recently in a serious accident that left her with multiple fractures, a dislocated knee, and torn ligaments. She will be unable to work for at least three months.

<div>Hi! I’m Judy, The mother of Amiya.
</div>
<div>I’m writing on behalf of my daughter Amiya. I’m humbled and I’m asking for help cause I have nowhere to turn. I am a single mom with no help financially, physically, or mentally. I have had some help from local agencies that paid my light bill but they can only do so much once a year.
</div>
<div>first let me tell you about Amiya.
</div>
<div>Amiya is 20 years old, she. Is full of life , funny sweet girl when she feels good. She was diagnosed a diabetic as a juvenile, she is a Type 1  insulin dependent she will always need insulin for the rest of her life. She is currently living with Gastroparesis ( abdominal pain) and recently has been diagnosed with blood clots and is now on a blood thinner which is rare for her age. She has been living with this abdominal pain ( gastroparesis) for over a year now. She is now malnutrition due to this diagnosis. Her health has deteriorated in the last year since diagnosis. She needs assistance with everyday activities, dress, bathe, cook (when she can eat). She is constantly nauseous or vomiting . She has lost alot of weight from 125 to 92 lbs.... The diabetes is manageable but challenging along with Gastroparesis. It is very hard to control her diabetes. Her numbers are up and down like a rollercoaster When she can’t eat the she plummets to low (hypoglycemia), she can’t move or hardly speak, it’s debilitating and scary she can go into diabetic coma.

<div>Gastroparesis has no cure.
</div>
<div>This year has been very difficult. We have tried all medication that’s available for Gastroparesis at this point , but nothing has helped her. We have been in and out of the hospital approximately 20 times already this year. She Unfortunately also with the limited activity she can do she has formed blood clots which for a 20 yr old to be on blood thinner is very rare. They are discussions about that she may need a gastric pacemaker. We are currently in the hospital again now 3 days she has not been able to keep food down, which worsens the malnutrition.

<div>I have exhausted all of my savings and resources. I lost my job in January due to her illnesses with her in and out of hospital and I have loss my job because of it. 
</div>
<div>Amiya is solely dependent on me with/ for her daily living activities. This is starting to take a toll on my mind and body myself  not only worrying for Amiya but worrying about our bills. I’m unable to work until I have help to care for her, I have applied for. I have applied at agencies and they have helped me with some bills but they can only do so much once a year , and now my bills are due again and falling behind again. I have applied for SSI disability for her as well as caretaker supplement but this could take 6-8 weeks or longer. In the meantime I will loose my home , car etc if I can’t get any help.

<div>It’s embarrassing to say the least to have to ask for help but as her mom I need to be here for her and I’m doing everything I can to get her better and that’s asking for this help so I can help her. I can not bare the thought of loosing my daughter which has been a scary possibility, but by the grace of god she is still here fighting and trying to be strong, but she is exhausted and said she would not wish this in anyone, and ask god why me? Hard to hear your kids cry for help and you can’t do anything than what you’ve done. I pray all day for her everyday. I would appreciate anything you can do to help us.
