Noor is educated in agriculture and the husband is educated in media/journalism. they both attended university in Gaza in the past. will you help Noor and her family to give them hope for the future. now they also need food, nappies and the bare essentials.

Help Noor Fayez and her family living in Gaza

<div>Hello, I am Rima, a mother of three children. We lived a very poor and poor life before the 7th of October. We could not find food every day. I remember that I spent nearly a month or more with my children without lunch, and sometimes without breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

<div>Our intestines were twisting from extreme hunger, and we had no one to look at us with compassion and provide us with food. That period was one of the worst periods that we had ever experienced. My husband was unemployed, and I promised him that I would stand by him in good times and bad. At that time, I was in my eighth month of pregnancy. I needed a lot of food. Support, tonics, vitamins, and iron, especially after I found that the fetus did not weigh a kilo. After I began to fear losing it due to the lack of adequate food and support for it, my teeth fell out quickly, my body lost weight, and I was admitted to the high-risk pregnancy section.

<div>On the fourteenth of June 2022, I gave birth to my beautiful child, Acer. He was like a blooming rose, bright white, but he was weak in structure and had crooked feet. He suffered from clubfoot, a deformity in both feet that made them stick together inside. I began his treatment journey when a week had passed since his birth. I performed a surgical operation on him. The hand of Dr. Adnan Al-Barsh, who was martyred as a result of repeated torture by the occupier.

<div>Then after that, we performed a cast on both feet over a period of 7 months, and his feet began to improve until he suffered a crisis that made him suffer from colds and colds throughout the year. Days passed, and on the 7th of October, the war began, and we lived in northern Gaza for about 4 months.

<div>We experienced hunger, poverty, death, destruction, and bombing every second before our eyes. We experienced repeated escape and displacement during the day dozens of times. We moved from one area to another in search of safety, but we did not find it. The bombing was under our feet and above our heads. My husband suffers from a chronic disease and cannot move much. I was pulling him on the cart. He and my three children, and I run from one place to another without having a loaf or a penny in my pocket.

<div>I helped my children when they were hungry. I fled to southern Gaza in search of food and a living. I borrowed money to help my children and my husband, and we passed through the safe corridor. How was it safe after all that!!! The Zionist soldier fired a shot into the air, asking me to leave all my clothes, money, and gold. I refused, so he directed his artillery at my children and my husband. So I left everything to protect my family and took them all out, but they were not like before. They had suffered from involuntary urination, stuttering, confusion, and stuttering in speech. They were so frightened and terrified that none of them could speak the entire way.

<div>I lived here in the south a very difficult life. Life here is very expensive and I cannot buy anything. I am waiting for the aid that comes to keep me and my fetus alive. There is no one to help me bring food and drink. I do not have a strong tent to protect me from the cold of winter and the intense heat. I suffer daily. All of my children were injured in the target when I sent them to collect empty cardboard boxes in Rafah, and after that I did not send them to any other place. Mahmoud was injured. In his face, Muhammad was injured twice in his left foot. His feet began to twist again and he began to suffer greatly from frequent falls while walking.

<div>My name is Mohammed Mohanna, and I am a fifth-year medical student at Al-Azhar University and a humanitarian worker with World Central Kitchen (WCK). I was on my way to reaching my goals and living my dreams, but the war destroyed everything I was working on.

<div>I dreamed of being a doctor, regardless of all the challenging conditions we face in Gaza due to the unjust blockade; I worked hard throughout my entire life, got an excellent result in high school, applied to medical school, and was on my way to becoming a doctor in a couple of years.

Instead of thinking about my dreams and goals, all I think about now is how to save and provide for my family, which faces unimaginable hardships every second. Our suffering is something that words can't describe; how would I describe the sadness that drowned us after we lost our house, the terror that we felt every time we had to escape to another home, the fear of starvation, diseases, and not to mention the traumatic psychological distress that made our life feel hopeless. The danger is present every second and everywhere.

<div>Even though we faced unimaginable struggles, that didn't prevent me from serving my community but encouraged me further. Therefore, I volunteered in the hospitals in Gaza to help support the medical team with my humble knowledge and skills. Moreover, I am working with WCK to provide meals and food for the people in the Strip. Since working with a humanitarian organization, I somehow had a sense of safety. Still, recently and after the incident that took the lives of 7 of my colleagues, whom I had worked side to side with for months now, I found myself more scared than ever for my life and my family's lives as even humanitarian workers are now a target in Gaza.

<div>We were displaced from our house on the second day of the war. The area of ​​the house was classified as a dangerous area, and the occupation forced us to evacuate it. Following that, we were forced to evacuate our place more than five times, and each time, we were granted another chance at life. Each time, we lost part of our dreams of returning, part of our memories. Because of the sudden evacuation decisions, we lost part of our personal belongings as well until we no longer had anything but our souls. With it, we move from one place to another, and every time, we hope that the displacement will be the last.

<div>On February 2, our residential square (Karama Towers, North Gaza) and apartment were blown entirely up. And with that, all our hopes vanished. We lost the memories and all the effort of my family for many years.

But now she has been paralyzed for 7 months, stuck inside her body in an AHC episode, with no way out. Due to malnutrition, lack of medications, lack of medical care and the effects of the war, Julia is in a very bad place medically and is deteriorating. <em>She is unresponsive now and time is running out for this little girl...</em>

It is a severe lifelong disease and it can be deadly. AHC causes paroxysmal symptoms called "episodes" that include hemiplegia, paralysis, dystonia (painful muscle spasms), seizures, and more. Episodes can last days or even weeks..... but months... that is very, very bad.
