<div>Our friend Mikey's Altadena home was tragically lost in the fire this week. He evacuated with only a few family photos and the clothes he was wearing.

<div>He and his son, Dake, are safe and with family, but the loss is immense.

<div>Mikey is the kind of person who is always there for everyone. He’s the one you call at 2 AM, even for the smallest thing, and he’ll be there without hesitation.

Aid Mikey and Dake: House Gone

<div>Hello all. The last few days have been a whirlwind for the McNeff family. Many emotions and ups and downs and things are constantly changing. After suffering a 30ft fall at a job site in New Hampshire and being taken to the hospital in Portsmouth, NH, Patric is currently being taken care of by the wonderful staff at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. He has multiple serious injuries, including fractured ribs, a spinal cord injury, and other bumps and bruises internally and externally. Laureen, Brendan and Chloe are currently in Boston from Southern California, as are Rocky, Emily, and Coen from Oregon.

<div>On August 26th, Patric was prepped and underwent spinal surgery to stabilize the T11 vertebrae. This surgery was successful, however, Patric will most likely not recover any feeling or mobility from the waist down. The surgeon who spoke to us, along with the nurse, disclosed what the next months will look like for Patric: lots of rehab.

Patric's Recovery Journey

Our beloved colleague and friend Hadiyah Miller was recently diagnosed with a serious health condition and is just beginning medical treatment. Hadiyah has been an ardent advocate and supporter of young children and families in her 40 years as an educator. Hadiyah encourages, inspires, and transforms the lives of her clients, students, friends and colleagues. <br /><br />To accommodate the treatment plans and next steps, Hadiyah’s work hours will be greatly reduced for the months ahead. Best Friends, Sisters, Roomies, now homeless. <br /><br />For the last five years, Diana and Leta have lived together in a small apartment on 2nd Ave. <br /><br />More than just a home, this 500 square foot corner of the world served as their creative sanctuary. Working 13 different jobs between them, they pursue their dreams of making art that makes the world more understanding, more harmonious, and better for all. <br /><br />Thursday, they lost everything they own to a devastating fire. Sheets, towels, treasured pictures from Freshman year, musical instruments,<br />underwear, shoes, computers; literally everything they owned damaged by the fire and its aftermath. They will need to be replaced.<br /><br />So many people have already sent well wishes, love and support, but still want to do more. Diana and Leta have contributed so much to this world, now it’s our turn to repay the favor and help them rebuild. <br /><br />Diana and Leta are both Smith College and National Theatre Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center alums.
