Medical Expenses for Mel Gillespie

Hey My name is Terry I am doing a fundraiser to help with my kidney transplant. I have been on dialysis 4 years and now it has come time for me to receive a kidney. This is truly a blessing from God. My journey hasn't been easy by no means, but l never gave up hope that God had a plan for my life. With this surgery comes financial responsibilities that requires me to have to pay for medical bills shelter and medicine due to the fact it's out of state and only covers a certain percentage and the rest is left for me to pay. I am asking for help however big or small the donation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance and may God continue to bless you all.

This morning around 10:30am the unthinkable happened...a local family started off 2021 with a house fire! Cody Heithold who is a Police Officer with Clinton Police Department and his fiance Mary Moss who works for the Laurens County Sheriff's Office....had to start the morning off by losing everything! Half of their home caught fire burning up all of Cody and Mary's clothing and personal items. Due to smoke damage..their son is in need of new clothing and personal items. Laurens County is a community that cares about their first responders and these first responders need your help today! They need help starting 2021 off with a new place to live, clothes, food....they need help starting over. Anything you can do to help would be amazing. Also, please keep them in your prayers.

First Responder Family In Need

On December 12, 2019, the only real home I’ve ever known burned down due to an electrical fire. As a result, my mother and I lost everything inside. Now we are trying to figure out our next steps and how we are going to make it through the holiday season and beyond. Those of you who know my mom and me know we’ve never had much, but now we are faced with the task of starting over. To my friends in the Upstate area, in Columbia and elsewhere — if you can manage to give a little and/or share this post, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you. **UPDATE** What started out as an attempt to raise enough for a hotel room and clothes has turned into a real journey toward funding a new home. The generosity we have received is absolutely mind-blowing, so I have updated the fundraising goal with the real hope of being able to provide my mom with enough to build another home on our property. Unfortunately, the home was not insured (we lost it a while back due to the house's age), so we – my mom, especially – are starting again from ground zero. Please, if you're able, consider sharing with others and spreading the word. I am absolutely floored by the possibility of giving my family a new start. Thank you, from the very bottom of my heart.

McKibben-Greene Family Fire Recovery

For those that would like to donate directly.....please send checks to the following address: DANCE SOUTH 30001 HWY 76 EAST CLINTON, SC 29325 God has led me to start this GoFundMe page for a friend that is very near and dear to my heart. Allyson was diagnosed with a brain tumor back in September 2018. She has seen several specialists in the area (Greenville and Charleston, SC) and is scheduled to see a specialist at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota on October 24, 2018. Still to this day, no one has been able to diagnose the tumor/mass that was found in the motor center of her left temporal lobe without a more invasive procedure being involved. Treatment options that have been mentioned include 1) needle biopsy or 2) craniotomy which is more invasive with more risks involved. Allyson, her husband, Daniel, and her parents, Melanie and Calvin Young, will be making the week long trip to Minnesota at the end of the month to see several health care specialists to figure out where to go from here. As you all know, medical bills accumulate FAST and they're EXPENSIVE. Over the last month and a half, Allyson has been seen in the ER, was admitted to the hospital for a couple of nights, has had LOTS of blood work done, has had scan after scan of her brain, abdomen, pelvis, chest, neck, etc to rule out malignancies, whether it was by MRI, CT scan, or PET scan. And those are not cheap either! Any medical procedure that Allyson will have in the near future will also be added to this ever growing list of bills. Don't forget, she and Daniel have two precious boys, George (6) and Brady (4), that they love very much and have to make sure they are taken care of while being away at appointments, all the while maintaining two independent businesses (Allyson's dance shop and Daniel's body shop). The beauty, grace and strength of this woman that I’m so lucky to call my friend is one to be admired! Please share this with anyone you know that would be willing to donate because every little bit helps! And if you know Allyson, she would NEVER ask for this help.......but she deserves it. She deserves this and so much more! I pray that my dear friend be completely healed. What a story she will have!!!

Unfortunately, in the few short months of his life he's already endured more than most of us would in our lifetime. Following about a week of persistent tummy problems and breathing concerns on April 13 2019 at only 3 months of age, we received devastating news that Haddon had cancer. About four days later on April 17th 2019 we confirmed it was stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Although a relatively rare form of cancer, neuroblastoma is one of the most common malignant tumours in children under the age of five. Haddon has a large sized tumor in his chest that horse shoes his spine. The tumor also descends down four spinal notches. He has a few that are on his chest wall as well. Haddon also has several tumors in his enlarged liver (5 times the size it is suppose to be) and tumors behind his kidney. Our journey has began with a chest biopsy, a bone marrow biopsy, MRIS, CTS, MIGBS, and two port placements. Along with blood transfusions, oxygen tanks, and sedation, we are slowly developing a plan to treat his Neuroblastoma. On April 17th we started our first round of Chemo. As of right now our our road map consists on a minimum of 8 rounds of chemo, which will last roughly four days and we must be inpatient. If the tumor shrinks we will have one/+ surgeries to remove the cancer if possible. We are trying to have as little radiation because of his age. If this road map doesn’t work it will open others door to other harsh treatments such as immunotherapy, radiation, stem cell transplant, bone marrow transplant, more surgeries. We are absolutely devastated at the thought of not being able to provide our youngest baby with every possible option to extend his life and give him an opportunity to grow up and share his testimony with the world. We are raising our kids to be faithful, selfless, to show positive values in their every action. Please, please, please help us ensure that Haddon gets this chance to achieve his full potential! No matter what the outcome of this journey is, our family will endeavour that our every action be directed towards giving back to the wonderful community that has shown so much love, strength and compassion to make one little boy smile again. Any unused funds will be donated to charity to help further research into finding a cure for this terrible disease. With our heartfelt gratitude The Norris Family
