My neice, Fatou Joof (D, Joof)is a vibrant, compassionate, and respectful young woman who has recently been diagnosed with a debilitating throat tumor. This condition has severely impacted her ability to drink, eat, and breathe, resulting in an approximate 75% loss of her body weight. unfortunately, this specific tumor is not treatable in The Gambia, West Africa. However, effective treatment options are available in other countries, which will involve surgical intervention followed by radiation therapy treatment. Fatou requires financial assistance totaling $10,000 to cover these critical medical expenses. As many of you may know that Sister Rugayyah has been patiently battling an aggressive cancer and brain tumors. Alhamdulilah, many people who love sister Rugayyah have offered assistance. As you all know sister Rugayyah is a very humble sister with the dhikr of Allah always on her tongue. Not a person would be in her presence but that they were reminded of Allah سبحان وتعالى . Sister Rugayyah spent the healthier part of her life as a student and teacher, always learning and always giving back to her communities in the best form- knowledge of Allah سبحان وتعالى . From teaching students at Dar Un Noor School to teaching the 99 names of Allah at masjid Bilal ibn Rabah or teaching online classes and always ready to give a new sister shahaadah, to being concerned about her salat during her most difficult days. Rugayyah wholeheartedly demonstrated love for Allah, Islam and her Muslim brothers and sisters.

As her condition worsens, aid is needed to assist in her growing medical cost.
