I was displaced from my home—a place that held my small dreams and big hopes. Now, I reside in Deir al-Balah, surrounded by hardship, but still holding onto a glimmer of hope.

<div>Gaza is not an easy place to live. Wars, destruction, and loss have become part of our daily reality. When I was forced to leave my home, I lost everything: shelter, security, and even some of the precious memories that tied me to my past.

<div><strong>Before October 7th, I had many dreams and ambitions. However, the war on Gaza shattered them all.</strong> My family and I have been displaced more than five times. My father lost his job, and we resorted to selling pastries and falafel to survive. I lost my job and my office in the UCASTI incubator, which was completely destroyed along with my father's workplace at the Islamic University.
