<div><strong>3/31 UPDATE</strong>: There will be a service held for Ryan on Saturday 4/4 at 11am. At WF Gormely &amp; Sons (2015 Capitol Ave. Sacramento, CA)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ali and her husband Ryan have been cherished members of the Sutterville School community for the past three years, along with their two young children—one in second grade and one in kindergarten. Over the last year, Ryan bravely battled pancreatic cancer. As of Sunday 3/29, Ryan has sadly passed away, leaving Ali and their children facing an unimaginable loss.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During this incredibly challenging time, Ali and her family are in need of extra support from friends, neighbors, and anyone who feels moved to help. The funds raised will go directly toward covering medical bills, daily living expenses, and the costs associated with afterlife care. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the burden on the Langen family and allow them to focus on healing and supporting each other.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ali and Ryan have always been there for their community, and now it’s our turn to be there for them. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in their lives. Thank you for considering a donation and for supporting this wonderful family in their time of need.

Support for the Langen Family After Ryan’s Passing

<div>After a battle with cancer and a brief illness, my beautiful mother, Susan Watanabe, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Our family is devastated and struggling to navigate a world without her. She had three children with my father, Taka, whom she was married to for 36 years. My dad, who was her full-time caretaker for the last couple years of her life, is understandably completely heartbroken.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On top of that, Taka is stressed about finances and having to return to work. I don't believe he should have to have to start working again so soon after the loss of his wife. I am asking for some financial help from his friends and loved ones so he can take off the time he so desperately needs. Any little bit you can spare will help my dad pay his mortgage and monthly bills while he grieves Susan's death.

Support Taka Watanabe After Susan's Passing

<div>The devastation caused by the LA fires has been nothing short of heartbreaking. Like so many of you, I’ve been watching in horror as entire communities are wiped away, leaving countless families with nothing but the little they could take with them when told to evacuate.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One of those families is my childhood friend <strong>Megan and her young daughter</strong>. Their home and everything in it has been destroyed by the fires. While they were able to evacuate safely and are currently staying with friends, they now face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Megan and I grew up together in LA, and her family has always been the type to show up for and help others. Odds are, if you spent time in LA, too, they’ve touched your life in some way. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recovering from a disaster like this is more than just finding a place to stay or filing assistance claims. Government assistance falls far short of the actual costs—temporary housing, replacing clothes, food, toys, furniture, and basic essentials are just the beginning. Then there’s the pain of losing irreplaceable items such as heirlooms and family photos.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is where we come in. Together, we can help ease the burden and give Megan and her daughter a fresh start. <strong>Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and reminds them that they are not alone in this journey.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s show Megan the power of community and help her rebuild not just her home, but her hope as well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your generosity.

Help Megan and Adella Rebuild After LA Fires

On September 20th after months and months of pain and discomfort  Jamie ended up in the ER in excruciating pain. That ER visit turned into a 7day hospital stay where after lots of poking and prodding Jamie was diagnosed with severe diverticulitis along with a bowel obstruction most likely caused by scar tissue.  Severely dehydrated,  her body overworked and stressed, simply started to “shutdown”.<br /> Three days of a gourmet diet of an I.V. drip with nothing by mouth, not even water they started adding clear liquids back into her diet.  That went horribly wrong when they gave her vegetable broth with soy protein which she is allergic to, making her body, especially her bowels just as angry as the day she was admitted.  Leaving her once again in pain, back to square one with I.V. only diet and extending her hospital stay.  <br /> After numerous tests with more to come and a special diet that she will need to be on for the rest of her life Jamie is now out of the hospital and has started the long road to recovery and self care.  She will continue with outpatient care which will include more tests and probable surgery in the future. <br />She can return to work soon, however on limited duty and restricted physical activity. <br />As we all know Jamie’s job is physically demanding.  She will need to cut back on how much she does.  <br />The last thing anyone needs, especially when they are sick is to worry about how they will not only pay their huge medical expenses,  but how they will survive on a day to day basis.  I have encouraged Jamie to not make decisions regarding her health based on finances. However, we all know that is much easier said than done.<br /> I have created this account in the hopes that you will find it in your heart to help in any way you can.  Jamie gives so much of herself to others every  single day. Please help me give back to her.  Thank You ❤️
