<div>Hello, we are Franziska and Bastian, two passionate cyclists with a vision: Since February 2025, we have been on a one-year bicycle journey. Along the way, we want to raise donations and support nonprofit cycling projects in the countries we travel through, making cycling more accessible to more people!

<div><strong>Our Inspiration </strong>
</div>
<div>About ten years ago- together with friends- we founded a small nonprofit organization called Faradgang. The idea is simple but powerful: We collect old, unused bicycles from streets, backyards and basements, refurbish them and give them to people who otherwise couldn’t afford a bike. Over the years, we've met many wonderful people from around the world and experienced that the joy of cycling knows no boundaries.

<div>Through UltraNiceCycling, we want to extend this vision globally. During our journey, we visit and support local projects that make cycling more accessible to different social groups, sharing the joy and fun that cycling brings.

<div><strong>Who Will We Fundraise For? </strong>
</div>
<div>The beauty of this journey lies in its unpredictability. We don't want to plan everything in advance. As we travel through many countries, cities, villages and cultures, we visit and meet the projects that come our way.

In the end, the collected donations will be equally distributed among all of these projects.

<div><strong>How Will We Ensure the Right Projects Are Chosen? </strong>
</div>
<div>With years of experience in organising and implementing cycling projects, we have developed a good instinct for initiatives and NGOs that are truly passionate about cycling. By combining our expertise with intuition and trust, we will select projects that align with our vision.

<div>Please Note: Depending on regional conditions and cultural differences, it might happen that we don’t find projects that focus exclusively or specifically on cycling. Therefore, we would like to leave room to feature other nonprofit projects that address other important local needs.

<div>Vor etwa zehn Jahren haben wir zusammen mit Freund*innen einen kleinen gemeinnützigen Verein namens <a href="https://faradgang.de/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Faradgang</a> e.V. gegründet. Die Idee ist einfach, aber wirkungsvoll: Wir sammeln alte, ungenutzte Fahrräder von Straßen, Hinterhöfen und Kellern, bringen sie wieder in Stand und geben sie an Menschen weiter, die sich sonst kein Fahrrad leisten könnten oder wollen. Im Laufe der Jahre haben wir viele wunderbare Menschen aus der ganzen Welt kennengelernt und erfahren, dass die Freude am Radfahren keine Grenzen kennt.

<div>Durch UltraNiceCycling möchten wir diese Vision weltweit ausweiten. Auf unserer Reise besuchen wir lokale Projekte, die das Radfahren für verschiedene gesellschaftliche Gruppen zugänglicher machen, um so die Freude und den Spaß am Radfahren zu teilen.

<div><strong>Für wen werden wir Spenden sammeln? </strong>
</div>
<div>Das Schöne an solch einer Reise ist das Ungewisse. Wir möchten noch nicht alles im Voraus planen. Wir werden durch viele Länder, Städte, Dörfer und Kulturen reisen und dort die Projekte besuchen und kennenlernen, die uns begegnen.

<div><strong>Wie stellen wir sicher, dass wir die richtigen Projekte auswählen? </strong>
</div>
<div>Mit jahrelanger Erfahrung in der Organisation und Umsetzung von Fahrradprojekten haben wir ein gutes Gespür für Menschen, Initiativen und NGOs entwickelt, denen das Radfahren am Herzen liegt. Durch die Kombination unserer Expertise mit Intuition und Vertrauen werden wir Projekte auswählen, die mit unserer Vision übereinstimmen.
