 On Wednesday evening, Rob was shot and killed in a senseless act of violence on Put-in-Bay on the very first day we were there to celebrate his 40th birthday, which would have been today.

 I know I won't be able to say everything perfectly, and I don't think words could ever capture the depth of this loss. Rob was so much more than a husband and father. He was a constant presence, a source of strength, a comforting hand, a helping hand, a perseverer, a man of unwavering faith, and a father who intentionally led and loved his family and children toward Christ every single day.

Help the Sondergaards Rebuild After Fire

<span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);">It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I share the sudden and unexpected passing of Casey Britton. 

<br /><br />If you had the pleasure of meeting Casey, you know he was truly one of kind. He never met a stranger. His kindness knew no limits, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the task, and expected nothing in return. He would always be found with a smile on his face, no matter what was going on in his life at the time. <br /><br />Casey was a proud husband, father, and brother. Leaving behind two amazing children, and his beautiful wife, Ange, who is pregnant with their third child. 

This amazing family needs your help with the unexpected funeral expenses, as well as financial support for the upcoming months. <div>To know Lisa Perkins is to love her. She is one of the most beautiful humans, inside and out. Lisa has been my person, my best friend, my “if we aren’t married by 40, we will be lifers together”. She is one of the most selfless people I know, with the best heart, who loves all of her people fiercely.

<div>On April 11, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Inflammatory Breast Cancer - her type is the most aggressive and most rare form. Lisa has named her cancer after her most hated book character, Lionel. Lionel has invaded her lymphnodes, spine, liver, bones, and brain. She is undergoing multiple types of chemotherapy and brain radiation. Lisa will require one type of chemotherapy for the rest of her life.

<div>Lisa has already endured multiple hospitalizations, an extended ICU stay, and invasive surgeries. She is blessed to have her mom Sally, fiancé Nate, and so many friends by her side. While we are so thankful for her oncologist, Dr. Cherian, and other doctors at The James, thousands of dollars in medical bills are piling up. As you can imagine, the cost of continued treatment puts a whole other level of strain and stress on an already difficult (for lack of a better word) time. This is going to be an extremely long and tough road ahead.

Support Lisa Perkins’ Battle Against Rare Breast Cancer

<p>On Sunday evening my brother and his family suffered a terrible loss of their camper and summer-time residence which was located at their business, the Portage River Paddling Company. Bryan, unsure if the kids were inside, went in to the burning down camper to save them. Thankfully the kids were not in there, but Bryan sustained severe burns to his hands and feet. He is in the burn unit at St. Vincent's until further notice. The family needs to purchase a new camper and replace clothes and other lost items. With his wounds, it will be difficult for Bryan to fully return to work for a while. I am asking for help on their behalf, and to relieve some of the worry from Bryan and Amanda's shoulders. Thank you.

On January 23rd the Rich family lost a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Jessica Rich's death came as a complete shock to her family and friends. She was a fun loving and great mother who left behind her six children. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help with the funeral costs. Jessica will be deeply missed by her loved ones. Her oldest child, Bradley is nineteen and her youngest, Jaedyn is a year old. Any extra donations will help the children’s living expenses.
