There are many children in our community who are facing homelessness and hunger every day. Seeing their struggles inspired me to take action and do what I can to help. I want to cook and provide nourishing, home-cooked meals for these children, making sure they have access to healthy food and a sense of comfort during difficult times.

 With your support, I’ll be able to buy fresh ingredients, prepare nutritious meals, and also provide clothing for children who need it most. Every dollar raised will go directly toward making sure these kids have what they need to feel cared for and supported. His journey, from his roots in Yauco, Puerto Rico, to building a home and family in Brooklyn, New York, is a testament to his resilience and determination.

<div>Jaime's skills in technical fields, his tales of boxing glory, and his unwavering faith were just a few facets of the extraordinary person he was. The most vital choice he made in life was when he came to the Lord at the age of 18. He graduated from Bible Institute from the Latin American Council. His decision to embrace the Lord at a young age shaped the values he imparted to his children and grandchildren. He was never afraid to share the gospel with those around him whereever he went.

<div>Though Jaime's time with us was cut short by an unexpected illness, the love he shared with his wife of 42 years, his five children, and his five grandchildren will endure forever. In this time of sorrow, we find solace in the memories we hold dear and in the outpouring of support from our community.

During this time of uncertainty and imminent danger in our world, there are heroes among us. One of our heroes, Officer Montrell Jackson has fallen, on Sunday, July 17, 2016, in the line of duty in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. <br /><br />Montrell was a highly regarded police officer in the Baton Rouge Police Department, and most importantly, a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend. <br /><br />Words cannot describe the devastation that we feel right now, and would ask that those who are able to please contribute to this meaningful cause in order to assist Montrell's family financially during this time of mourning.
