Today our family received frantic news that my sisters family's home was involved in a fire. Holly, Mike, Evan, Rille and willow all residents of 72 park streets apartment was a total loss. Thankfully Mike was at work,  Evan at school and Holly with the girls; no one at home.  The flames all over social media? That's the floor they lived on.  MY favoite little family is going to need to replace all of their belongings, clothes , furniture, toys, and outdoor gear. Please consider making a donation to help them back on their feet❤️ P.s. My name is Keith Hayden and I am part of a group that is looking to raise money for our good friend Chris "Woody" Wood. Five years ago, Chris was diagnosed with a condition known as Chiara Malformation (swelling of the brain) and was operated on. Unfortunately, the condition reared it's ugly head again and Chris had to be operated on a second time on July 2nd. We are looking to raise monies to help Chris with his medical bills and for his every day living costs that have piled up do to his condition. For those of you that have had the pleasure to know Chris, you know he would be the first to step in and help others. He has been an organizer of The Daniel Petithory Golf Tournament, a volunteer firefighter for Cheshire, MA, and a long time Boy Scout leader. We will also be doing a local fundraiser but we would like to reach out to the others that are not in the area who might be so kind to help Chris get back on his feet. First &amp; foremost, I want to thank everyone for all the loving and thoughtful comments regarding Nala Biker Dog's health issue. Nala and I truly have some the most awesome friends, and I am incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

It is not something life threatening at this point, but it's the type of injury that will not heel by itself and will only continue to get worse. She will be needing surgery, and the sooner the better; the longer she goes without it, the more extensive, and expensive the operation will be.
However, at an estimated $2K for the procedure I just can't swing it alone, so I'm reluctantly asking for your help.
The good news is, Nala does not appear to be in any intense pain and has been prescribed pain meds by the vet, which she is now taking to relieve any pain she does feel.
However, this is only a temporary fix.
