<div>Baby Ahnariah gained her angel wings after fighting so hard as a brave little heart warrior. Born with half a heart but full of so much life, happiness and love and that is all she ever knew in return. Not just by her parents, family and friends, but also by all the nurses, staff, other patients and their families as well. Baby Nari was loved by everyone that met her and everyone loved seeing her out on her strolls or smiling and waving as you went by her room. Known as the best dressed baby on the cardiac unit with her cute outfits, pretty hair and stylish shoes, she was quite the popular girl and will be so missed.

Ronald and Teriana are young parents but you’d never know it with how gracefully they have handled this entire journey. They made sure she had the best life possible and was always happy, along with being her best advocates and support through it all. In Memory of Baby Ahnariah

<div>Hi, I'm Aunt Sarah and my baby niece just went through a procedure when something happened that has us all in a complete state of disbelief, fear and disarray.

<div>Ellie went in for surgery around 10:30, and at 11 a Dr was coming to chat with mom and dad in a private setting. At that point Ellie was in trouble, her words exactly, during the dilation her esophagus perforated allowing air into the chest cavity and sending her into cardiac arrest, coding on the table. She was down for 15 minutes but thanks to the quick intervention by her team (plus a ton of others) they started CPR within 4 seconds and continued until her heart restarted.

<div>They placed two tubes into either side of her lungs to allow the air out as well as opening up her belly to get the remaining air out.

<div>Since coming out of the OR she has continued to stay stable, but they have her heavily sedated and on a paralytic to keep her absolutely still so her esophagus can heal.. she is in critical condition in the PICU in Iowa City and has a very long road ahead.
</div>

<div>It’s unreal, it’s terrifying, &amp; it’s rare… something that most doctors see once or twice in their career. Taking things very slow to get her back to her smiley self.

<div>Hi this is the children of jack and denelle we are trying to help our parents due to a sudden medical emergency. Our father has suddenly a bad heart attack at home and our mom/step mother had to get him to a hospital fast. She has been in and out of the hospital for her own medical conditions as well. Due to the incident we will have to try to cover the cost of the ambulance, the helicopter ride, multiple surgeries, time off work, and as well as any other expense that may arrise. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

Jack medical funds

Scott Miller passed away unexpectedly today. He felt very weak/ill for 4 days leading up to his death. His son was preparing to take him to the emergency room when he passed away.  <br /><br />Scott was only 46. He has left behind a wife and 6 children (5 still living at home). The only life insurance policy Scott had is $10,000 of coverage. In all likelihood the policy will not cover his funeral expenses and will leave his wife struggling to take care of her 5 children. <br /><br />Scott has touched many lives of people in our community through coaching. He has played the role of a father figure to many children who lacked a male role model in their lives. He was a good person who was passionate in helping kids see their potential through sports.
