<div>My name is Tim and I have stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to the lung and liver. I was given the choice to choose palliative chemotherapy or try my best to live my life for the next 6 months to a year. No cure for you is what I continue to hear. It started when I was sick for 6 months, just bleeding and the Doctor ignored it. I was 230 pounds and kept losing weight . I went down to 140 pounds. I could hardly walk, had problems swallowing, and was deteriorating fast. After tests, CT scans and PET scan my Doctor said I was terminal and had no idea how much longer I had to live. My blood was at a level so low that I needed a transfusion. I went to Westside Regional Emergency for the transfusion. I arrived at the medical facility at 7:00 AM, feeling extremely cold upon entering. The temperature inside was very low, and I immediately noticed it was difficult to get comfortable. Despite asking for assistance, I was not offered any immediate relief or warmth. Given the cold conditions, I asked for additional blankets. I was provided with five blankets, which helped me maintain some warmth, but it wasn’t enough to counter the overwhelming chill I was experiencing. The medical staff informed me that I would be receiving a transfusion, but it wasn’t until around 12:00 PM that the transfusion process began. This delay of approximately five hours in treatment added to my discomfort and distress. Upon arrival, the medical team mentioned I had multiple health issues that required urgent attention. However, due to the cold, discomfort, and the prolonged waiting time, I felt my condition was not being managed adequately.

<div>Around 12:00 PM, I made the decision to leave the facility. Despite the medical team's concerns, I was freezing, and I chose to sign out of the facility, effectively releasing them from all responsibility. I felt that I was not receiving the necessary care and warmth that I needed at that moment. I left the facility and went to my car to warm up, hoping to regain some comfort and stability. I took this action because my immediate well-being was my priority, and the medical setting was not providing the conditions that were necessary for me to stay.

<div>After leaving the facility and recovering some warmth in my car, I made the decision to seek a second opinion. I contacted my daughter, who is a nurse on the West Coast, and together we found a medical facility that would take me in for further evaluation and care. I checked in within hours they told me I had Pneumonia and the Rhino Virus, may as well received Pneumonia from Westside Regional. I received antibiotics and felt much better. After, the doctor came in and gave me a choice to live or die . I had colon resection surgery and they removed a softball size tumor from my intestines with some Cancer cells . In a few days I was up and walking back to normal. It was a miracle to me, but now what do I do? I have stage 4 Cancer . It is in my lungs, and now my liver. I am terminal but how long do I have left? I am back to 160 pounds and trying to adjust. I feel life has a new experience for me to face. I have no income only my social security which pays for my car and small amount left for gas. I have projects that need to be completed. I gave a lot of stuff away my website was hacked totally destroyed. It maybe the only way I can make any money. Life has not much left for me now.
