<div>It is with a broken heart that we share that our father, Alvaro Salas Gonzalez, 66, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Loma Linda, California, surrounded by his loving family.

<div>Born on February 19, 1959, in Tepatlaxco, Puebla, Mexico, our dad lived a life defined by strength, humility, and unwavering love for his family. He was a devoted husband to our mother, Elena Carretero de Salas, and a cherished father to Alvaro Salas Jr, Carlos Salas, Ivan Salas, and me.

<div>Our family remembers him as our protector and our heart—always present to ensure our well-being and safety. His love was steadfast, his guidance invaluable, and his kindness immeasurable. Support Our Family After Father's Passing

I think anyone who met him would understand that he very solitary, distant and sometimes odd, but what no one realized, that was simply the surface. He really enjoyed the company of friends and family. He struggled for the better part of his life until he met the love of his life and Fiance Esmeralda and his son Max Jr. Truly the best years of his life and the happiest.  It was odd for me to see someone that i hated to be happy it grounded the idea that we all strive for the same ideals. Companionship, love, joy and growth and little by little forgave him. Not because he was my brother,  but because he was a person looking to break away from his past. I can only say that i am extremely grateful that we were able to reconcile and develop a relationship again, but sadly it was a short one.   All our family can't express the amount of love we have for him and it hurts us that we weren't always able to express that to him. Sadly he passed away on 04/24/2018  from head trauma.  Now we face his final resting place and ask anyone who is reading this, to please give us support whether emotionally or financially.  I'm unsure of the deadline as of now but i believe we won't be able to proceed with the funeral without said amount and or a deposit possibly a week. I'll update whenever possible.  I ask to spread through social media and anyone who can help.  Roberto Pastor

Funeral Cost for deceased Brother

On May 21, 2017,  we received tragic news that our friend Sueae (Jeff) has passed away. Jeff was part of the KCC family for over four years working in various capacities in Operations. We know Jeff as one of the hardest working member of the team and when he’s not at KCC, Jeff is a dedicated family man.  <br />  <br />We are so thankful for any donation, support, prayer, or comment.   The proceeds will help assist the family with the funeral costs and other expenses.  Please share this campaign and help us be a shoulder for the family to lean on in this time.

Our mom, Marta Martinez  has been in dialysis for about 5+ years due to kidney failure on both kidneys. On Saturday February 20, 2016, after arriving home from her dialysis treatment, she got a call from UC San Diego Medical Center to pack her stuff and leave from L.A as soon as possible, for a possible transplant and for further testing. She went to surgery that night and received her transplant (Thank God!). Our mother has always worked hard and sacrificed a lot for us. She has worked all her life to give us a better life and we would love to help her in anyway that we can. We are trying to raise money for her medical and housing expenses since she has to stay in San Diego for further monitoring of her new kidney. Any donations/funds would mean a lot.
