On what should have been an ordinary day, our lives changed in an instant. The Spruill family experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed our home and left it completely uninhabitable. The damage is so severe that it may take up to a year before restoration is complete. Tragically, the neighboring home was also lost, a heartbreaking reminder of just how intense and destructive this fire truly was.

 As we try to process everything, we are also grieving an unimaginable loss. The very next day, we laid our father to rest. In the midst of losing our home, we had to say goodbye to our dad who meant everything to us. Right now, we are facing the overwhelming reality of starting over from nothing—searching for temporary housing, replacing essential belongings, and managing the unexpected expenses that come with both a devastating fire and the loss of a loved one.

 These funds will help cover temporary housing for our family during the next several months, clothing, food, and daily essentials, replacing furniture and household items lost in the fire, funeral-related expenses for our father, and insurance gaps and unexpected recovery costs. We are humbly asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation—no matter the amount—will help us begin to rebuild our lives, secure safe and stable housing, and take the first steps toward healing. <div>During her three short years, she made an incredible impact on everyone she touched. Full of life and wonder, she was happy, brilliant and had a bubbly, inquisitive spirit. She brought joy to her teachers, classmates and especially her younger sister. They were like two peas in a pod, at constant play and enjoying the innocence of life. Her parents, Kevin and Brandice Hampton, instilled wonderful morals and values and worked hard to create a beautiful home, full of love and light.

For Our Sweet Royal Grace Olivia...

Many of you may have seen FaceBook posts from John and La-Shawn Nieves. Due to severe flooding from heavy rain in the area; the home the Nieves family rents and lives in suffered major flood damage.  Along with flooding, the home's heating oil tank exploded and caused a release of heating oil.  Floodwater in the basement rose to the ceiling, completely destroying all contents there. <br /><br /> They have sustained significant damage and loss of most items in the home as many items have been submerged and/or contaminated by the oily sewage water.<br /><br /> This family has lost approximately 75% of their belongings and need our help to get back on their feet. <br /><br /> Many of you have asked how you can help in addition to praying for them.  Below is a short list of items that have been damaged. <br /><br />1) Car: John's car was completely submerged and is a total loss.  They are working with the car and insurance companies, as the car was practically new.   <br /><br /> 2) Furniture Lost:<br /><br />-Dining Table &amp; Chairs<br /><br />-Sofa &amp; Chairs<br /><br />-Dressers for clothing<br /><br />-Desk<br /><br />-Bed frames <br /><br /> 3) Recording Studio: John's recording studio which he has invested in for over 20 years and which has been a source of income is completely submerged in the basement.<br /><br />The value of the items in the studio alone is over $100,000.  Those of you who know John know that he has worked hard to build this over the years. Unfortunately, none of this equipment is salvageable. <br /><br /> 4) Clothing: All members of the family have lost their winter wardrobes and personal items, as they were stored in the basement. <br /><br /> 5) College furnishings: Jonathan’s (their son) entire wardrobe and all dorm room appliances/supplies were in the basement prepared to return to school 9/5/2018; all items are a complete loss.<br /><br /> Everything lost cannot be itemized here, but the need is enormous as you can imagine.  However, we serve a great God and they are blessed with great friends and family. <br /><br /> For my friends, the pressure is on and the clock is ticking!! NIEVES FAMILY EMERGENCY - FLOODED!!

Peyton was born with Sixth Nerve Palsy. This condition effects his vision. He also has Bilateral Esotropia and is farsighted. Peyton can not bring his eyes past mid-line and therefore he appears severely cross eyed. We also treat one of Peyton's eyes (his left eye) with Altropine drops. This is meant to help stregthen his weakest eye (his right eye), since it is seriously underdeveloped.

Finding a doctor we trusted hasn't been easy. But we are blessed to have found Dr. Monte Mills of CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia). We have muscle surgery scheduled for Peyton on May 9th.

However, we are financially responsible to meet the insurance carriers deductible as well as the co-insurance. This amount is $3,403.42. We are struggling to meet this financial agreement and are hoping to have donations to help our sweet baby boy see the world as other little boys do. Children can be cruel - so we have decided to have this surgery ASAP. We don't want Peyton to be teased or feel different from other children.
