<div>After 20 Years of Saving Dogs, I Need Help Saving My Home
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For 20 years, I gave my life and my home to dogs who had nowhere else to go. I founded Amigos de Los Animales and opened my home and my heart to thousands of animals in need. I studied proper sheltering so that I could do the right thing by each dog.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, after all these years, the dogs are moving to a new home—and I am facing life alone, trying to rebuild my home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My house is 71 years old and desperately needs repairs: critically dangerous electrical circuits, water leaks pushing the water bill sky high, a ruined water pump for two 400-gallon cisterns for $700, broken fans all over, fix falling outdoor ceilings, painting within and without and many urgent repairs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After giving everything I had to the rescue, I simply do not have the money to make my home safe and livable again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I never expected to be asking for help. For most of my life, I was the one helping others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I am asking my friends, family, and the people who have supported the dogs I loved so deeply: Please help me now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any donation, no matter how small, will help me repair my home, regain some independence, and begin this next chapter of my life with dignity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After 20 years of giving everything I had to save animals, I am asking for a little help for my home—and myself.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>❤️ Thank you for standing beside me.
