If you know Carrie Terroux-Barrett, then you know Pete and their girl Addison. Carrie and her family have a larger-than-life involvement in animal welfare, including co-founding a state-wide non-profit horse rescue, running a dogfood bank, and usually with a few stray kittens along for the ride. Last week, Pete and Addison were t-boned, victims of a truck collision, both injured, and taken to the hospital. The good news is that both are home again and mending, but the bad news is it will be some time before they are back to 100%. Both Carrie and Pete are self-employed and valuable contributors to our community in more ways than we can list. They are the best of us. If you are lucky enough to be their friends, we know you will want to give what you can to help out, and if you don’t know them personally, then do it for the hundreds of animals they have helped over the years. Join us in lending a hand, and wishing them a speedy recovery.
