<div>While their future is uncertain, one thing we can do is rally around them. As they navigate this immense and challenging time, the last thing we want them to be worrying about is financial stress. Donna will also need to take time away from her work as a teacher, to support Jarrod through treatment, attend appointments, and care for their family, creating additional financial pressure during an already overwhelming period.

Magical Memories for Levi & Archie – Disneyland Japan 2025

<div>Hi, my name is Kira, I’m the daughter of Madonna, and I am raising funds to support my mums recovery during her organ transplant.

<div>After seeing the journey her best friends daughter, Prue, has been on for 20+ years suffering with MRKH, a condition where she was born without a uterus, my mum has selflessly and bravely decided to join the Uterine Transplant Project at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Sydney to give Prue the ultimate gift of an organ that can bring life into this world.

<div>We live in Melbourne so it has been years of travelling backwards and forwards to Sydney for screening appointments, scans, delays from Covid-19 and preparing for this, but the surgery date is finally set and here!

<div>As this is a major surgery, the recovery will be extensive. Due to my mum being self employed, her second job not having enough sick leave to cover her recovery, her long service leave unable to be accessed and not having a partner, my mum will be looking at a minimum of 6 weeks of no income. As we all know the cost of living is high and everyone is doing all they can to make ends meet, so this will be our means of paying bills. We as a family are hoping this fundraiser will assist in the loss of income my mum will endure, due to doing something so phenomenal.

Support Australia’s 1st Uterus donor for MRKH

<font color="#333333">Hi everyone,<br />Our daughter, sister and friend, Casey has just had her life flipped upside down in the worst way possible. <br /><br />She has just lost her husband unexpectedly in a time they were supposed to be celebrating life, enjoying each and every day together, having only recently bought a house together, married and with their first baby on the way. Casey is 24 weeks pregnant with their little IVF miracle bubs. <br /><br />Kyle was only 36, married to the love of his life in 2020 but only able to celebrate with family and friends in May of this year due to COVID. The light of Casey and Kyles life due in December of this year. Having to do IVF for their bundle of joy has been expensive itself and now Casey has to track this life alone without her other half, with the cost of the funeral and bills continuing to come in we thought we’d ask for everyone to pull together and make this difficult time a tiny bit easier by elevating some financial pressures. <br /><br />Casey doesn’t want people to feel like they have to help and appreciates all the love and support she has already received, however any financial assistance would be very much appreciated. All money donated will be going directly to Casey to help cover funeral costs and living expenses while she continues to grieve. </font>

Support Casey through the worst time of her life

<p>Last week my beautiful friend Helen had to do the unthinkable and tell her gorgeous boys that their father had died. Nathan’s death by suicide was as sudden and shocking as it was devastating for both Aaron and Lachlan. Both boys adored and idolised their father, his death will<br />leave an unthinkable hole in their lives. 
</p>

<p>Despite Helen and Nathan separating several years ago, they continued to work together to support and love their boys. <br />Nathan lived in Western Australia and despitethe distance, he had regular contact and long visits with his boys. 
</p>

<p>Now Helen faces the challenge of getting over to Western Australia to allow her boys to see their father one last time and be present for hisfarewell. 
</p>

<p>Helen is a hardworking paediatric nurse, who has dedicated her life to helping others. 
</p>

<p>Now she is faced with a massive task of not only emotionally supporting her boys through this but also bearing the financial burden of unexpected travel, accomodation and time off work. The current Coronavirus pandemic clearly makes it even more difficult. They will need to quarantine once in Western Australia, meaning she will have a minimum three weeks off work. 
</p>

<p>When someone is faced with this amount of grief and trauma, flowers and kind words can help but what Helen and her boys really need now is money to help cover the sudden costs associated with getting her boys to their dads side. 
</p>

<p>Helen would never dream of asking for this kind of help so I have taken on the task of attempting to relieve some of her burden. 
</p>

<div>In the wake of the devastating bushfires that tore through the Port Macquarie region, the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital was overwhelmed by the kindness and support of people from across Australia and around the world.
</div>

</div>
<div>During those critical weeks, our team — alongside NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service — worked tirelessly to search for and rescue koalas from fire-affected areas. Many were found injured, dehydrated and suffering from burns.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Each koala brought into care received intensive treatment — rehydration, burn care, and ongoing medical support — with dressings changed regularly as they began their recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What began as an emergency response quickly grew into something much bigger.
</div>

<div>It was clear — recovery wouldn’t be enough. We needed to rebuild.

<div>Originally envisioned as the ‘Koala Ark’, this facility was created to help protect and rebuild wild koala populations in a safe, natural environment.

<div>And today — it is a reality.

<div>The centre is now open to the public, and our breeding program is underway.

Koalas are listed as endangered: Help us save them!

I am the sister of Tamara in May 2018 she was admitted to hospital with pneumonia, they had then diagnosed Tamara with a blood/lung infection known as Sepsis. Tamara was in an induced coma for 8 days and in that time her heart, lungs and kidneys all had collapsed. The doctors did a great job in keeping her a live but then brought as the news that due to poor blood circulation her hands and toes would become black, gangrene. Most likely need to be removed. as the months have gone by she has stayed in hospital leaving behind her 7 children and partner to manage the kids on his own. and 2 months ago they had to amputate both her legs one at a time for healing and she has since been learning to walk with prosthetics. her hands have repaired as much as they are likely to and doctors are hoping to save a palm on the right hand and to the wrist on her left hand. Eventually when she is discharged she will require around the clock care supported by the NDIS. We are wanting to start a go found be page to do some minor renos to their house for her well being and also a vehicle equipt for a disabled person that potentially in the future be fitted for my sister to start driving again. we are greatful for this opportunity and looking forward to having her home for a brief time over xmas.<br />thank you<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/34022058_1540525958480026_r.jpeg" alt="34022058_1540525958480026_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />

I'm off to Tanzania for a month in September to teach at a school with IVHQ - International Volunteer Head Quarters. This fundraising page is to raise money for supplies for the kids, and for anything else the community and the children are desperately in need of! I've been advised that the best option is to buy things over there a) to help the local economy and b) so that I can first see what is needed before doubling up or purchassing anything unnecessary. <br /><br />I also think fundraising is much more fun if people can actually see where their money goes so I will be sure to send regular updates and pictures to show people how the money is being spent!<br /><br />Thank you for your kindness!
