For those that don't know me, my name is Todd Snyder and I am a friend of RB Stiewing. Last week (Nov. 12th) RB was seriously injured while testing at Road Atlanta.  Through no fault of his own, he ended up straight off at Turn One.  With virtually no speed reduction, he hit the tire wall at over a 100 mph.  With that kind of speed he made it through the tire wall and moved two, concrete barriers. He has suffered injury to his left knee and back, with his back taking most of the hit .  He has several compression fractures in his lower back.  He has to wear a back brace for the next 8 weeks before he can start the rehabilitation process.  The doctors have told him he can not bend forward during these first 8 weeks (so that his back heals as best as possible) so he is not allowed to work or do any physical activity. RB, like many of us, is self employed which means he will have a significant loss of wages over the next 4-5 months if not possibly longer.  RB has given his entire life to the motorsports industry and has  helped thousands of people learn and enjoy the art of auto racing. The motorsports community is one of the best communities that I have ever seen and I am asking that everyone that has known or been touched or influenced by RB to donate to this cause to help him through this difficult time both emotionally and financially. The money raised will be used to help RB and his family get through the next 4-6 months while RB cannot work and also assist in any medical expenses that are not covered. With Thanksgiving and the holidays right around the corner, I am thankful that my good friend will not be permanently injured after all of this. It would be a great holiday present if we could hit our goal before Christmas so that RB and his family can feel secure in knowing that things will be alright and that we all care about them. Thank you, Todd Snyder
