<div>On 5/13/2026, our road sister, ’Paco’, was involved in a felony two-vehicle hit and run. While she was riding her motorcycle down the highway, the first vehicle caused her to crash into the barrier and be ejected, while the second vehicle ran over her leg. Both vehicles failed to stop and are still at large. She suffered a major leg injury and has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Due to it being a felony crime it will take some time before she sees any financial assistance and she is unable to work during this time. Paco is also looking at additional surgeries down the road. I’m asking for any amount of donation to help support her recovery and ease some of the burden for her and her partner.

</div>
<div>We are also looking for any information on the two hit-and-run vehicles. If you have any information, please contact Detective Ford.

<div>In October 2024, after a brave and hard-fought battle, Garrett defeated Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But just as his family was beginning to breathe easier, the unthinkable struck again. Garrett is now fighting a new, rare, aggressive cancer attacking his nervous system and brain. Despite this devastating setback, Garrett continues to show the same strength and positivity that has earned him the admiration of everyone who knows him. He is determined to defeat this, just as he did against Hodgkins Lymphoma.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Garrett is a devoted husband, father of four (ages 1, 3, 5 &amp; 7) and an all-around great guy. His unwavering optimism, even in the face of overwhelming adversity, has been a beacon of hope for his family and all those around him. But as Garrett continues his fight, and he WILL fight, the unforeseen medical bills, childcare costs, and the growing needs of his family can become overwhelming, especially when Garrett needs to focus on his health. At the same time, his lovely wife Molly (who also goes by her legal name, Mary, for those who aren't close to her) has a battle of her own, tending to four young children and supporting her husband through this battle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are trying to raise $100,000 + to help Garrett's wife and children navigate this incredibly difficult time. The funds will go towards covering unforeseen medical expenses, childcare, travel costs, and other living costs while Garrett and Molly continue to fight, and focus on his health and recovery, rather than worrying about finances.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Garrett’s family is facing a tough road ahead, and your support will make all the difference. Every donation, no matter how small, will provide them with the peace of mind they need as they navigate this challenging chapter. Thank you for being part of their journey and for helping Garrett and Molly continue to fight.

<div>In the early morning hours of July 6, this world lost a shining light. Patricia “P” Au was returning home from playing mahjong when her motorcycle struck an elk. P loved late night rides on her Harley…and morning rides, group rides, solo rides or riding beside her husband Ric.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>P always had a bear hug to share, her smile and laughter were infectious. P was a proud mama to Sydney, her family was everything to her. P enjoyed sharing stories of her extended family, growing up around her uncle’s restaurant, her competitive sports adventures. Sharing a meal with her was an experience itself, she was always trying to get me to eat something new or try what she had ordered.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I only had the immense pleasure of knowing P for a short time. But her absence is felt deeply and I know I’m not alone. So many people have asked how they can help. This is one way we can come together, as a community to help P’s family. All donations will go directly to Ric and P’s family.

<div>Washington German Shepherd Rescue is raising money for our general Medical Fund. As is the case with rescuing dogs in need, there are many times when they require some extra medical care. Recently, we have taken in a puppy with a broken leg, a young dog who needed FHO surgery, a young pup with a blockage and a blind neurological puppy in need of an MRI. These things all start to add up. Any help you can provide is appreciated. All proceeds will go directly to helping pay the medical bills of the dogs we rescue.

<div>Here is the quote for the MRI we are needing for the blind neurological puppy to give you an idea of the kind of costs that are associated with some of the medical care we deal with.

<div> September 18, 1991 a baby angel was born on this earth and her name is Ashely. It took her 18 long hours to get here but she was well worth the wait. It was instant unconditional love and the world changed for the better 30 years after. She is was a social butterfly and everyone was immediately drawn to her because of her huge smile, vivacious personality, and radiated and glowed pure happiness. She was also the most selfless person you would ever have known. <span>On Wednesday, September 22 we lost her. If you’ve ever met Ashley, you’d know how much she touched the lives of everyone around her. She had a radiant smile, a heart of gold and a personality that lit up the room. She will be missed dearly. </span>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

<div><span>Ashley had a passion for helping those around her. She worked as a Medical Assistant until the pandemic hit and felt she could help the community more by being a part of the frontlines. She has worked at testing sites throughout the pandemic bringing a warm smile to a stressful time for patients. In addition, she had regularly organized clothing and personal hygiene drives to bring personal care items to houseless communities. </span>

</div><br />The devastating loss of Ashley will weigh on our hearts for a long time to come. With her generosity that always put the needs of others in front of her own, she leaves us with broken hearts.

<div><span>She is a daughter, a big sister, a cousin, a granddaughter,a niece, and a friend to many. </span>

</div>

<div><span>She leaves behind her husband, Josh Raye and their beloved pup Banjo Raye, her mother and father Justin and Katherine Thompson and two younger sisters Alyssa and Adena Thompson. Not to mention countless friends who cared for her deeply.  </span>

She will have to be in a wheelchair for a while and lots of physical therapy to come. Considering she will be out of work for an undetermined, extensive amount of time, I am asking if you could give as little as $5 to help support my sister and brother in law &amp; our Niece &amp; Nephew while she recovers, it would go a long way.
