<div>In December, while visiting South Africa with his partner Erica, Chris suffered a stroke which has left him unable to move on the right side of his body, speak, or travel back to their home in England. <div>Hey everyone, I’ve made this go fund me page for my best friend Leah Smith. Leah is 21 years old from Liverpool and was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Ewing Sarcoma at age 18, which she managed to beat but sadly it has came back in her lungs. We have now been told that Leah is stage 4, and that her treatment isn’t working. She’s tried multiple treatments that haven’t worked, and they’ve offered her possible radiotherapy. We’ve been doing research and have found an alternative treatment that Leah could try but unfortunately it costs a lot of money that we don’t have. We really want Leah to get better, she deserves to live a fulfilled life just like every other 21 year old. Any sort of donation will help towards this treatment that could potentially save Leah’s life. Thank you for all of your support and for helping Leah beat cancer

Alternative Treatment for Leah Smith

Kai is 5 years old and was born prematurely at 31 weeks. At the age of 2, Kai was diagnosed with 'Spastic Displegia', a form of Cerebral Palsy. The type of CP Kai has results in his muscles having excessive tone, meaning he is unable to stand independently on his feet or walk. The muscles being so tight in his legs means Kai stands up on his tiptoes and is unable to put his legs straight causing him a lot of pain.<br />Kai is the most beautiful, happy, loving, funny and determined young man who wants nothing more, than in his own words, to "have his legs fixed". Kai loves football and sports and would love to be able to run around with his friends, play football and just be like every other young man his age. <br />Kai was lucky enough that his CP did not affect his mental ability at all and he is so very bright and aware of his condition. He takes it all in his stride, works extremely hard with physio and consultants at GOSH to better his condition and excercise in order to give himself more range and movement.<br />Early last year, Kai was accepted and placed on to the waiting list for Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR). This is a life changing spinal operation which reduces all tone and spasticity in Kai's muscles meaning he will be able to take his first independent steps. This operation will allow for Kai to come out of his walker and start to make his dreams of playing football and running around come true. <br />The funding for this operation and the intense physio required afterwards to help Kai gain his strength has for the second time been stopped by NHS England. <br />We are now beginning to fundraise for Kai as he deserves the chance to have this operation, stand on his little feet, live his little dreams and see the world from a whole new perspective.<br />He has been a fighter every single day with the most brightest, beautiful smile on his face.
