<div>Our good friend Ty recently suffered a serious accident while helping put a roof on a shed. He slipped, fell, and landed badly, severely breaking his ankle. Doctors have confirmed that he will need surgery and will be unable to work or get around normally for at least 12 weeks during recovery.

<div>Anyone who knows Ty knows he’s always the first person willing to lend a hand when someone needs help. Now it’s our turn to help him. Between medical bills, surgery, and time away from work, this injury is going to place a major financial burden on him and his family.

<div>Hi, my name is Wendy Hansmeyer.  I am a friend an coworker of Sandra Scalley.

<div>Sandra is our most loved massage therapist at Island Day Spa.  She is a dedicated, hard working lady,  but she has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time.  She will be having a double mastectomy on Tues May 23.  She will not be able to do her job and will be unable to make an income for several months. Sandra is a single mother of a 14 year old boy and they need our help.

Help for Sandra

Where to start...Sandy has to be one of the most caring and selfless people we know. She has literally given anything asked of her and more as a person and as a mother to Ben. She has gone from giving away her last dollar to complete strangers in need to donating bone marrow to save her sisters life!<br /><br />Last week, Sandy received test results that her biopsy came back positive with cancer...so in two weeks she will begin her battle to beat cancer like the  warrior she is!<br /><br />  Over the next year, Sandy will be doing very intense treatments. She will be unable to work and bring in any type of consistent income. Which is why we decided to set this up for them...<br /><br />We as a family are hoping to reach out and help Sandy and Ben raise some monies to help lighten the load and let her focus on getting better.<br /><br />So please donate anything you can or send her a positive message to help pick up her spirits!
