Tyler Alcon Recovery

On the morning of 6/29, the Alcon family experienced a heartbreaking accident. Their son and brother, Tyler Alcon, was in a severe, head-on collision and suffered multiple critical injuries from head to toe. He is currently in a very compromised and delicate condition, with his neck fractures being the most concerning. He has multiple fractured vertebrae, sprained ligaments around the vertebrae and spinal cord, and injury to one of the vertebral arteries. Having just one of these injuries would put someone at risk for paralysis or even death.  It is truly a miracle that he survived and is not paralyzed.  In addition, he also has several broken ribs, broken pelvis, a broken leg,  jaw,  and multiple deep lacerations. 

The Alcons are an incredibly generous and loving family who would do anything for anyone. Unfortunately, Tyler is currently without health insurance. This page is to assist the family financially in whatever medical obstacles are ahead. 

The emotional and physical recovery is already terribly overwhelming and stressful. It is our hope that through the generosity of family, friends, and people in the community... or even the kindness of strangers... we can give Tyler and his family a sliver of comfort so they can focus on what’s most important- his recovery. 

We don’t know why this happened, and it is still hard to process. But we do know that God has a plan, and we are so thankful Tyler is still here.
