TWU DPT Service Trip to Peru

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
The TWU DPT Class of 2017 will be volunteering at an assisted living facility in Cusco, Peru, providing much-needed physical therapy to children with physical and mental disabilities. As future physical therapists, we desire to improve access to health care and give back to our local & global communities.
Peru has one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, but over 30% of its population live below the national poverty line. A further 10% live in extreme poverty. There's great demand for medical attention in these underserved populations, and we need your help to meet that demand!
We will need to raise $30,000 total for our 25 student team to help cover cost of transportation, living expenses, and medical insurance. Please note, all additional proceeds will be donated to the facility in order to help pay for equipment and personal care supplies.
