Donation protected
On the afternoon of March 11, 2017 Tyler Terry was in attendance at an ATV race near his home in Saint Jo in Montague County, Texas.
During the race an ATV passed by, projecting a large 15 pound rock backwards, striking Tyler in the face. With over one hundred spectators, Tyler was the only spectator injured.
Tyler was flown by EMS helicopter to the hospital in Denton, Texas with multiple facial fractures and acute medical needs. From recent information, we know that the bones in his brow and nose are shattered, as well as and his palate being broken.
Currently, Tyler is in ICU on a ventilator and is facing multiple surgeries and rehabilitatation. At this moment, (13:30 3.12.17) he is in surgery to put in a tracheostomy.
Tyler turned 32 in February and is married to Michelle and they have a son, Quaid who is a happy and healthy one year old.
Tyler is a cowboy - a real cowboy. He works on a ranch full-time and trains horses on the side to make money where he can, when he can.
Having grown up in White Deer Texas, Tyler has never met a stranger and is always eager to help anyone, anywhere, much like his father.
Tyler has beat the odds thus far and does not have any type of brain injury but is facing numerous reconstructive surgeries just to get back to a normal life.
Any donation is appreciated and 100% of your donation will go to paying for hospital, physician and other medical and out of pcoket expenses for this cowboy and his family.
