Time to put our money where our mouths are. Give here to support Calvin College Theatre. TOGETHER we can create ANOTHER way.
This is by NO means a long-term solution, simply a way to show our Alma Mater that we are MORE than just passionate, emotional pleas -- although, those are valid! We want to very clearly communicate how serious we are. These immediate funds will go to stop the bleeding long enough to re-open discussion on the future of the theatre program at Calvin College with long-term support in mind in the forms of scholarships/grants/endowments/giving etc.
Please share this with ANYONE because ANYONE can donate towards this. It need not only be Calvin Theatre students and alumnae. ANYONE who cares about the preservation of arts in education or the arts in general is welcome to contribute.
We want this done by Monday. If we can get 1000 people to donate $50 each -- the cost of a dinner out for most of us! -- we should be able to hit this goal EASILY! Imagine if some felt compelled to give even more. Although, rest assured, ANY AMOUNT is acceptable! ANY. Many people have expressed regret that they weren't able to help show their support before cuts were made. Here is your chance!
